09.01.2022 The Brookland team is aware of the active COVID-19 cases that have been identified in the broader Sunnybank area and have reimplemented some key preventative measures within our village to minimise the risk of community transmission and protect our residents and staff. These include: - Temporary closure of the community centre, including café and dining facilities - Temporary cancellation of the bus service and all social activities within the village... - Restricting all visitors who have visited any of the identified locations at the relevant times (see link below), or who have travelled from New South Wales or Victoria in the last 14 days We are maintaining our existing practices of: - Monitoring all visitors into the village - Requiring all visitors to register at Reception - Maintaining an increased cleaning schedule - Making hand sanitiser readily available throughout the village - Encouraging social distancing at all times We await further advice from the State government regarding this case and hope to reopen our community soon. Development Approval was granted earlier this year and our residents recently voted to support the expansion. Thank you to all of the residents involved.
