25.01.2022 Wobbly Wednesday Workshop 20th January 930am to 130pm $75 for the day includes morning tea and refreshments... Bring your youngster or your heart horse and have a play with poles and obstacles and practice for showing, including showmanship and led hack etc. Patterns will be available to practice for a range of aged classes. E.g. yearling, 2 yr old, junior horse, senior horse, open, amateur, youth Can also arrange private 30min session afterwards heavily discounted. Get feedback from a judges perspective, learn how to navigate workouts to achieve maximum plus points Booking essential with a 50% non refundable deposit. *Refundable only if due to weather or covid (drs certificate required)

15.01.2022 Training with obstacles... Such as poles and bridges as well as other obstacles. Is an important part of keeping your horse sound and happy. Obstacle training isn't just for the show horse people...not just for the western or the working equitation riders. It's for everyone Imagine going on a trail ride and you come across a bridge. Would you know how to tackle it if your horse was a bit unsure of it? You're going for a bush ride and you come across some fallen branches you ...want to step over... Or even some rocks or boulders... You are riding out... And you come across a gate. Would you like to open the gate while mounted? I for one don't want to be getting off and back on all the time to open every gate I come across. These are common scenarios, however there is even more to training with obstacles. It gives you and your horse confidence and you work through them as a team. Building trust and respect. Plus they are a lot of fun. Moving into the more competitive side of obstacle training. You will find events far and wide which incorporate some type of obstacle. From sporting (pony twist, ball race, versatility challenge etc) to working equitation, trail, mountain trail, extreme trail, cowboy racing, endurance, ranch events, and loads more. You don't even have to be competitive. Training obstacles is great for both ridden and in hand horses. So if obstacles sounds like something you would be interested in trying. (We start with little steps and build up) then why not join us for our obstacle and horsemanship clinics. Great for building confidence and trust as well as testing your skills. 07.01.2022 Kids camp dates 9th Jan (tentative due to weather) 16th Jan (covid restrictions pending) 23rd Jan (fingers crossed for lovely weather) Cost: $85 per rider BYO horse... Please be aware. Covid restrictions will apply. No admittance from a covid hot spot. Sorry for any inconvenience. Also can do smaller kids camps with family/friends on most days.
