23.01.2022 Fabulous willow weaving workshop at Brooklyn on Saturday with tutor Penny Kerr. Thank you to everyone that attended :) It was great to see people enjoying the class and creating some beautiful pears! Donna and Deb created a stunning and tasty morning and afternoon tea and lunch, superb! The abundance of willow leaves have been used for compost, thank you.

22.01.2022 Once again we will be closed to the public tonight due to having 2 private functions booking us out for the night. Our apologies to anyone who was hoping to come in for dinner.

20.01.2022 Knots, knots and more knots! We are lucky to have Alison Peel facilitate a Macrame workshop on Saturday, Dec 7. It's a great opportunity to learn a new skill and make some personal creative Christmas presents. The workshop will involve making a plant pot holder as seen in the picture. The workshop is $60 per person and will run for 3 hours. Starts at 10am until 1pm. Please contact us via FB messenger or to our email [email protected]. Numbers are limited to 10. We hope to see you there :)

17.01.2022 Brooklyn on Fitzroy is a beautiful old building, built-in 1876. Current renovations are near completion and we, at Brooklyn on Fitzroy, are excited to be open for business soon. Opening hours will be updated shortly

15.01.2022 Although the macrame course is full we are taking numbers for another course Alison will be holding early 2020. That course will revisit the potholder being made at the workshop on the 7 December. We are excited to say Alison will be doing a more advanced macrame workshop later on in 2020!

14.01.2022 Just a bit of trivia: Did you know Queen Mary II taught macrame to her ladies in waiting in the late 19th century! Brooklyn on Fitzroy's next workshop is being held on Saturday 7 December and it is Macrame with Alison Peel .. we are looking forward to another fun-filled workshop and cannot wait for you all to attend. Don't forget Brooklyn are switching on their coffee machine so participants can purchase coffee and cake on the day :)

It's a great opportunity to make a Christmas Wreath with a difference! Alison's macrame course is full but she is keen to do another course in early 2020 - we will let you know dates shortly.
