25.01.2022 As you may have heard by now, Brooklyn 1 was involved in a roll-over near Mogo at about 11:00pm on Thursday. The crews suffered minor injuries and were taken to Hospital for checks. They were released the following morning. As of 8pm last night, Friday, all of the crew have returned and are back with family and love ones. Thank you for all the messages of support and concerns for the crew members. We are a close community and will be supporting and looking after each other during this time.

24.01.2022 Congratulations to our new two newly qualified members who’ve passed BF today in extremely wet conditions!!

24.01.2022 Thank you for everything!

15.01.2022 Special thanks to our members from Brooklyn, Dangar Island Rural Fire Brigade and Milsons Passage giving up time on Christmas Day today, to help strengthen containment lines. We are all very proud and thankful of our members and what they give back to the community. Thank you to everyone who has given up their time over the past year. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without you all, and your commitments to the brigade. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! ... Stay safe! Brooklyn Captain

14.01.2022 Back as a river community sharing our resources. One team, one goal.

13.01.2022 Some stats to give an idea how busy our CAT 1 appliance has been. We've just hit over 10,000km driving for this fire season. Since early November, the CAT 1 has been out almost every day and been working fires to the North, South and West of Brooklyn and throughout NSW. ... 10,000 km doesn't seem like much but to put it in perspective it's a 22% increase on the odometer since 1st November. Our Cat 1 is ~18 years old; 20% of the current kms have been added during this fire season.

13.01.2022 #NSWRFS After a long time waiting we welcome our new Category 1 Tanker into the Brigade. The new truck is now operational, and our beloved old girl that has served us so well(since 2002) will be moving on.

11.01.2022 For one of the first times since mid November Brooklyn 1 hasn’t gone out today. We had a chance to clean and wash before Brooklyn 1 goes out again tomorrow.

09.01.2022 Brooklyn crews have been out since Sunday assisting with Storm damage

09.01.2022 Total fire ban in place for Thursday 23rd January 2020. Just because we have had rain, please don’t be complacent.

08.01.2022 Best of luck for all new members going through BF in the upcoming weeks.

05.01.2022 A huge thank you to everyone that go involved here and made this happen. As a brigade we're truely humbled. Thank you everyone.

03.01.2022 About 3pm yesterday afternoon, NSWRFS crews from Brooklyn, Muogamarra and Berowra responded to a car fire on the M1 southbound at Cowan that spread into the bus...h. FRNSW, NSW Police, and Ambulance also responded to the incident. The car fire was quickly knocked down and the small bushfire was contained. Occupants of the vehicle treated by paramedics for minor injuries. See more

02.01.2022 We've teamed up with Remo General Store to bring you the unofficial Brooklyn Volunteer Bushfire Brigade T-Shirts and Tote-bags. Using our iconic old sign, we've worked to get it transferred to wearable format. To see and grab one of these shirts, have look at the below:... https://remogeneralstore.com/BBB/
