25.01.2022 Why should you share a six-second kiss with your partner everyday? Because John Gottman says it’s long enough to feel romantic, but doesn't make the kids late for school. Learn more about the science behind the six-second kiss: bit.ly/sixsecondkiss

24.01.2022 Family meals together are vastly under-rated. See if you can spend at least 3 dinners together a week as a family, and make sure everyone gets a chance to talk about something of interest to them.

21.01.2022 Just to update our wonderful clients and interested parties. We remain open and plan to remain open for the forseable future for face to face treatment sessions, as long as this remains a sensible and safe option for everyone involved. To be able to do this, we all need to work together to ensure that we are not contributing to the spread of the virus. Important information for you: Your psychologist will not present to the clinic if they are feeling unwell, we are all tak...ing steps towards social distancing to reduce the likelihood that we will pick up the virus. We will be taking additional measures in regard to hygiene and cleanliness around the office. Rooms are sprayed and wiped down between sessions, as are surfaces and points of contact. We have a large waiting room, and the chairs are spaced out so you will not need to sit near anyone else. Appointments are being spaced out so that the waiting room is kept as empty as possible. Please do not attend your appointments if you are feeling unwell, or anyone in your household is unwell. The same applies if you have travelled overseas or interstate in the last 4 weeks. Please only bring necessary people to the practice (try to leave anyone who is not required for the appointment at home). Please do not arrive early for your appointments, as we want to reduce time spent sitting in the waiting room with others. Think about going for a walk during your child’s appointment, instead of sitting in the waiting room, particularly if the room is busy and if you have additional family members with you. Please practice good hygiene with lots of hand washing and drinking water. Options for Non Face-to-Face NDIS participants are able to have telephone or zoom (videoconferencing) appointments in place of face-to-face appointments Clients funding treatment privately or under insurance/workers compensation are also able to have phone/video appointmeents Medicare participants, there have been some additional Medicare items made available for people who are unable to attend appointments to allow you to have these appointments over the phone/video as well (these will be bulk-billed). Please don't hesitate to call reception on (08) 6296 5539 if you have any questions or concerns.
