25.01.2022 This is an insult to all involved in arts, actors, those associated with production sound, lighting, etc. artists, ceramists, theatre, ballet etc etc. All are contributing to our economy in a huge way. How can this be married to Transport portfolio?

23.01.2022 Brookvale Ceramics Studio Update Hi everyone, we hope you are all staying well. Due to the Corona virus we have had to make some changes at our studio. Our classes have been suspended until further notice but we will let you know when we can resume as soon as we know.... Our retail store is open but we request that you call to organise a time for your visit as we need to adhere to the rules the government has implemented. There are heavy fines for non compliance for both the individual and the business and we really want to do our part to help stop the spread of this virus whilst remaining open for as long as we can, so please call to organise a time for your visit. On behalf of everyone here at Brookvale Ceramics we would like to thank you very much for your continued support and please everyone stay well! Please call us on 9905 0264 to let us know when you are planning a visit and please restrict your visits to 1 person where possible. Thanks from the team

22.01.2022 The pigment that we use in SC-95 Pinkie Swear was abruptly discontinued by the manfacturer. However, we have a replacement that matches the fired finish of our ...existing color. Please note that the glaze looks slightly different than our previous lots when it is still wet. We are currently producing Pinkie Swear with this new pigment - Lot #2020067. See more

20.01.2022 A few lovely creations from last weeks classes. Great to see so many different styles.

19.01.2022 Great to have classes back, catching up with all. We are adhering to Covid rules, so numbers limited. Also afternoon session times have changed from 12-30 pm to 3-pm to 1pm to 3-30pm. Due to the fact everything needs to be cleaned between morning and afternoon classes (and I need to have lunch). We are endeavouring to fit in new students by adding extra time slots. These restrictions are a learning process for all of us and hopefully things will be back to normal soon. Thank you for your understanding.

13.01.2022 Check out this great stoneware technique featuring our Stoneware Gloss glazes! These glazes are great for making bright and detailed designs at stoneware temper...atures with no need for a clear glaze. They are completley intermixable so you can even extend the palette beyond the current 10 color palette. Contact you nearest local distributor to get your next favorite glazes! . . . . . . #maycocolors #maycoglaze #makeitmayco #ceramics #dinnerware #plate #clay See more

12.01.2022 Reading posts appears a lot of potters, artists, ceramists south of Sydney have lost Studios, equipment and much more. Hope this helps and you are eligible as a small business. Thoughts and prayers with you.

11.01.2022 Hi everybody. We hope you are all staying well. Our Brookvale studio will be closed tomorrow, Thursday 26th just for the day and will be open again on Friday. We are endeavouring to keep our store front open for as long as we can. We do ask that you strictly adhere to the social distancing rules and please keep visits short as we are also restricted in the amount of time everyone can be in the premises. If you are feeling unwell or have been asked to isolate please stay ...home. During this very difficult time we are happy to organise local deliveries for anyone in isolation so please give us a call if you need help. Thank you all very much for understanding and thank you for your support! I think if we all pull together, at a safe distance of course, we can get through this. Stay safe and thank you The Team at Brookvale Ceramics

09.01.2022 We can't stop staring at this absolutely stunning dinnerware set made by @potterybymalka!!! These pieces were created with Highwater Little Loafers clay and dip...ped using our SD-108 Green Tea, SD-131 Birch, and SD-177 Raspberry Mist. Malka dipped each piece 1/2 Birch and 1/2 Green Tea with some overlap in the middle and then dipped Raspberry Mist over the Green Tea. These pieces were fired to cone 5 with a 10 minute hold. Whoever ends up with this lovely set is very fortunate! . . . For tips on how to mix and dip with our Stoneware Dry dipping glazes, be sure to check out out Youtube channel! 06.01.2022 Sgraffito queens, so much talent in such a small group. Getting ready to celebrate Christmas, missing Roger and Di 2.

06.01.2022 Terrific Tuesday ladies having a 5 star lunch to celebrate Christmas. Many have been coming for 30 odd years, which makes us family, newbies are welcomed with open arms, one comment today from a very new student, WOW "how special are all these ladies. I feel like I have just been welcomed into a secret club". Yes they all share the good, bad etc in their lives but most important they encourage and praise or give constructive criticism to each other in their projects. Thank you all for a great year, and yes will see you all 2020.
