08.01.2022 Chestnut, 11yr old mare, 14.1-2h, good to shoe, float, truck, worm, rug etc. She would be suitable to a confident/intermediate teenager/small adult, as at time...s can be forward, but still has good check, stop and aides. She is good on trail rides (alone or in company), roos, dogs, farm vehicles and mustering. She is currently not in full work, just the odd ride due to having too many horses, but you can just get on and ride her, she just may just be a little looky and forward for the first couple of rides. She is educated & a proven mare who has always been ridden by teen and lady. Attended Ag School with my son and was very successful at events winning the interschool cattle & barrel racing sections. We don’t necessarily want her for a full on competition home as she did have an injury many years ago (that can be discussed if interested) which after a spell, she returned sound and has competed again successfully since. We would ideally love to see her go to a home with a confident small adult/teen who is used to a forward horse, where she will be loved and ridden all the time, possibly going to Adult riders, pony club, fun days, farm work and not wasted in the paddock. She has an amazing ground covering trot when she gets going out on the trail that she can maintain for ages, with horses must larger than her unable to keep up in the canter, so would be amazing for endurance. If she was a hand taller and a gelding, she would not be going anywhere. This is a very hard sale as have owned her since she was a yearling and will only go to the best of homes.
