16.01.2022 A message from Football West CEO James Curtis Football West appreciates the uncertainty felt in the WA football community in view of the decision to postpone all grassroots activities until 14 April.... We are also acutely aware of the potential impact that this decision will have on clubs, players, coaches, officials and volunteers. Football West will use the period of postponement to work closely with all of our football community. We are also working with the FFA, Federal, State and local governments to try to reduce the burden on the WA football community during these difficult times. Our priority is to safeguard the sustainability of all of our 250+ clubs so that when its the right time to resume football, we are ready to go together. Football West also kindly requests we all: share Football West and Football Federation Australia updates on COVID-19; respect all members of the community, including the football community; encourage members to stay up to date with and put in place the latest expert health advice Football is the most participated team sport in this state and we understand the role it plays in the broader community, including with the local businesses involved in supporting our clubs. Staying united in our approach and maintaining our values will enable our sport to remain strong and navigate these uncertain times. We appreciate your continued hard work and support and extend our thanks to all that are involved in community football for their understanding. Football West will continue to work closely with all of our clubs and members and appreciate your co-operation. Regards James Curtis CEO, Football West
15.01.2022 Broome Soccer Association is so proud of Ayanna Hayter-Otaola who went down to Perth over the holidays and played for Goldfields at Country Week. She then trained with Football West coaches at their talent development Country Camp. She scored seven goals for Goldfields including two in the final, which helped her team to become champions. You are an absolute credit to Broome Ayanna!!

06.01.2022 If the traditional Term Three 4-12s Soccer is to happen this year we need your help. The Broome Soccer Association desperately needs parents to help, organise and coach. We are all busy with our lives but if we can find enough people to lend a hand then our kids can play. If not we will have to cancel Junior Soccer for 2020. We are having an emergency meeting on Thursday, 5pm at the Piano Bar in The Roey. Here we will look to allocate jobs to people. If you can help I hope to see you there.
06.01.2022 SHIRT UPDATE: The shirts are still stuck in Melbourne, head kit man Dawson is finding out how long they will be. We may have to make a new order. Hang in there guys - you will get your shirts!
03.01.2022 If you are playing in the adults social sevens this evening then please remember your $5 match fee. This goes towards the cost of field hire and lights. Thanks
03.01.2022 Broome Soccer Association is in need of volunteers to help us with our Junior Soccer programme. Our Mini-Roos soccer programme attracts around 300 kids aged 4-11 and runs on Wednesdays and Fridays in Term 3. We have the BRAC field booked from 22nd July but urgently need a volunteer to help with the administration. We have two programme coordinators and a supportive committee but need someone to help with registrations, enquiries, kit ordering etc. We also need volunteers to help organise and coach on the day. If you want your child to play soccer in Broome then maybe its time you put your hand up to help... Please email us at broomesoccerassociation.com for more information.
02.01.2022 Both the mens and womens adult teams are still looking for players for the soccer season. All standards are welcome so whether you are new to the game or have not played for a while come down and have a go! www.broomesoccer.com
