20.01.2022 New product - white spelt flour White spelt flour is commonly used in baking where a "lighter" baking touch is required, such as in pastries, biscuits etc. It is similar to normal spelt flour but with most of the bran and germ removed. https://www.bfco.cbbc.com.au/product/spelt-white-flour-100g/

11.01.2022 Food Co-op update We hope you, your family and friends are well, happy and safe in these rapidly changing times. We are open and intend to stay open for the long term! We are also introducing fortnightly ordering in response to community need. We have redesigned our services in response to higher product demand and requests for deliveries. We intend to do our bit to serve the community better at a time when we all need to work together for the common good.... We are experiencing some shortages at our suppliers, so we might not always be able to fulfill all orders. We will refund all items that we cannot supply. We are also trying to keep our web shop as up-to-date as we can. We are also experiencing longer than usual delivery times, but we hope to keep on top of those and that the fortnightly deliveries will service our members well. We have suspended our usual volunteer activities and Saturday pickups; however we would appreciate if members would contact us if they can do deliveries. We have reduced our pricing by roughly 5% on all but two products. We have also introduced a $5 delivery fee to cover costs. We would like to encourage members to inform us if they are facing financial hardship in which case we will waive the fee. Order frequency as mentioned above there will be fortnightly ordering and information will be available via email, Facebook and the online calendar: https://www.bfco.cbbc.com.au/volunteer/. Delivery dates will be announced via email and Facebook. See more

04.01.2022 So youve used up the last square of TP and youre ready to recycle your inner tubes... Wait! Before you toss em, check out our favourite way to get a lottle e...xtra use out of them. 1. Tubes make great seedling starters for your favourite herbs & veggies, plus theyll biodegrade right into the dirt! : northerngirlgardener 2. Fancy a party? Add natural confetti inside the tube, wrap it in delightful paper (like our wrappers), and tie off with a ribbon for fun party crackers! : emmal_gold 3. Need something quick & easy? Tidy up your cords by simply slipping a tube over the extra length. Marie Kondo would be proud! : simplybychristine
