24.01.2022 Thank you to the Lioness Club of Broome who continues to support our school and students. Today they awarded a scholarship to one of our Year 10 students to cover her school fees moving into Year 11 and 12. Congratulations to Hayley Carmichael who was the recipient of this award. per Greg Hayes

20.01.2022 The Lioness Club of Broome has been a long-term supporter of our school and is seeking interested quiz goers for its Lioness Mango Festival Quiz. This years qu...iz funds will provide scholarships to two of our students entering Year 11 so we would like to thank the Lioness Club and support its efforts. The quiz will be on Thursday 24 November at the RSL Club starting @ 7pm. Tickets are $10 per person (tables of 8) and available from the Broome RSL on Robinson Street. Lioness enquiries 0417-546-637. 19.01.2022 WOW what a morning at the Lioness Mango Jam, Chutney and Cake Tasting Competition at the Boulevard Shopping Centre on Saturday (26th). The people of Broome rose to the challenge and we had a record of 57 entries across three categories. So huge, we had to ask for more tables! Tasting & voting started around 9:15 and continued until 11:45, with a record of 161 people voting. Childrens cakes were in evidence and enjoyed by all. 15.01.2022 The Lionesses of Broome would like to thank all the participants at the annual Mango Quiz night on Thursday 24th at Broome RSL. It was a full house yet again, and everyone enthusiastically answered the questions. Some were quite tricky this year! We must thank all the businesses in Broome for their generous donations won via Raffle draws. We also had several Silent Auctions for larger donations. The winning team won prizes donated by Willie Creek Pearls. The funds raised are ...going to provide Scholarships for two Year 10 students going into Year 11. These scholarships are one each at Broome Senior High School and St Marys College to assist with school expenses. Thanks also to Broome RSL for their assistance and use of their venue; to Ray Kuceli, our fantastic Quizmaster; and to all our helpers who worked tirelessly all evening. CLK See more
