24.01.2022 With the return of this beautiful spring weather just letting everyone know I have reopened the SJ arena. $15 per horse with no time limit.

24.01.2022 Please ensure you are aware of the arena rules. Not reading the sign is not an excuse for not obeying the rules. The sign is positioned so it cannot be missed. If any of the rules are confusing, please don’t hesitate to ask.

18.01.2022 Well done Steph Hann Starting from Monday 8th April I’ll donate all arena hire fees for the following 2 weeks towards the trip. So anyone wanting to have a sj ride while supporting a good cause - hit me up

18.01.2022 For the past 6 months we have had a portable toilet located out near the arena. This is provided for the convenience of all. If however people continue to put items down the toilet that are not supposed to go down a toilet, we will need to remove it. I would appreciate if mums could speak to their daughters about what items should not be put down a toilet (same items you don’t want down your toilet at home). Mums, if you don’t know what items shouldn’t go down there, feel free to message me and I can have a chat with you

Friday 12th October (XC exercises with me only) ...Tuesday 16th October (lesson with Kylie as well) Sunday 28th October for those of you wanting a weekend clinic (XC exercises with me only) All at Brosten Meadows. Please email [email protected] with your chosen date and I'll send you the booking form. Places are likely to fill up fast!*** I'm teaming up with Equine Rider Therapies's Kylie Roesler for a 'cross country basics' clinic in the school holidays on 4th October. Start with a short lesson on jumping seat and balance, learning exercises to help with your position every ride and correct any crookedness or bad habits. Then a lesson training cross country exercises on the awesome Brosten Meadows arena, developing your technique and accuracy with skinnies, apexes, angled lines and combinations. Heights start from 50cm, so even those who have started jumping but haven't been out eventing yet can come have a go :D

13.01.2022 Due to the current wet conditions and with property owners going on holiday, the SJ arena will not be available for hire now until August. Stay warm everyone

11.01.2022 Please note that the hose near the arena has been turned off however there is a large water trough in the yard from which you are more than welcome to sponge or bucket wash your horses from. Unfortunately the hose has been left on several times (and we all need to do our bit to conserve water), as well as having people decide to wash their horses here with my water (leaving me empty shampoo bottles as a present). So feel free to sponge and bucket wash but be aware the hose is no longer available

10.01.2022 Due to the arrival of the rains, arena hire is not available until the end of winter. I’ll advise once a snorkel is no longer required and they are available again

07.01.2022 Some more clinic dates coming up. Mal has been instrumental in taking me from terrified of going over poles on the ground to confidently jumping courses - and a lot of that is due to the grid exercises we’ve done. Also been great in liana learning to see a stride and work on her position (which is awesome) over a fence.

03.01.2022 Make the most of this beautiful weather - sj and dressage arenas are available for hire at $15 per horse - with no time limit. XC will be available soon (need ponies to eat down the grass).

02.01.2022 Just a reminder that all facilities are open for hire at the moment - $15 per horse (no time limit, just book for as long as needed). Booking the arena gives you exclusive access to both the SJ and the dressage arenas. Don’t worry about the rain we’ve had - Freshmans today was not cancelled due to arena condition, but because parking in the paddock would have risked people getting bogged. Our all weather surface is great regardless of how much rain we get Approximately 12-15 jumps setup at any time and welcome to change as suits your needs. Also have dazzle boards, boxes and a water tray.

01.01.2022 Big weekend here this weekend with Kirkcaldy Park freshmans on Saturday and Mt Lofty PC here for a Twilight rally today. Thank you to Mt Lofty PC for the lovely flowers (photo does not do them justice). What a great group of kids you have - really enjoyed seeing them all having fun
