25.01.2022 Our new flock arrived early yesterday morning. They have setted well into their new caravan and will be on our nice green pasture first thing tomorrow morning. Over the next 3 nights we will be training them to go back into their caravan at night. Then training them to lay in their nesting boxes so the eggs are nice and clean. Let’s hope they start laying quickly

24.01.2022 See you all at Maryborough markets from 6am tomorrow morning. We are bit light on for coin change, so if you are paying with cash if you could have correct change that would be awesome and greatly appreciated. We only have 800g cartons and our extra large oversize cartons available. With it being school holidays our cafes and restaurants have stolen all our 700g eggs. We also have more of our beautiful fresh hydroponic lettuce available this week.... Remember, if you don’t want to miss out on our eggs, please message the page and put an order through. We’ll put you straight in our order book.

19.01.2022 Well...We finally got their in the end. 4 flat pack feeders put together. Like putting together a giant jigsaw puzzle on steroids. No instructions either. Our marriage has survived in tact. Just. Haha. Just in the nick of time too. Our new flock of hens arrive at 6am tomorrow. Feed arrives at 7am. ... Massive day of markets in the morning and farm work in the afternoon. Time for a beer and a bit of relaxation before a massive day tomorrow. This is our 4th flock since we started our business last year. We will be super excited to get our eggs back into some of our old suppliers we had to unfortunately stop supplying when demand for our eggs went nuts. We might even be able to start supplying some new outlets in the Fraser Coast when these girls start laying again.

02.01.2022 Absolutely sensational last few days at the farm. 35ml of rain on Sunday. Followed by another 15ml rain this afternoon. The place is already starting to green up nicely. Chicken manure all through the property is fantastic free organic fertiliser. All you need is a little water and the grass bounces back incredibly quickly.
