24.01.2022 Brothers Rugby League Townsville will celebrate its centenary in 2019. It was a long held belief that Brothers Townsville was established in 1922, and as such would celebrate 100 years in 2022. To mark this occasion a rugby league historian/author Tony Price was commissioned to write a book detailing the history of the club. It was during this process that Tony uncovered some evidence of Brothers having first fielded a team in 1919.... Given this revelation, the anniversary for the club has been moved accordingly to reflect Brothers' earliest foray into rugby league in Townsville; so in 2019 the butchers stripes will celebrate 100 years of history in Townsville. There will be events held throughout 2019 to mark the occasion and Brothers looks forward to welcoming past and present players, coaches, staff and supporters to relive their experiences with Brothers Rugby League Townsville.

12.01.2022 Just over a week out from our main dinner, which is being held on the Jack Manski Oval, Saturday 4th May from 6.30pm. Dress for this event is semi-formal. Ladies this dinner will take place on the field so heels may not be advisable. Friday 3rd May - from 4.30pm - 6pm in the Garden Bar (Fishbowl) at Brothers there is an informal meet and greet. On that night, the Cowboys play the Titans from 6pm. There will be nibbles put on during this time and the club has access to 50 ...GA tickets to the Cowboys for those wishing to attend (particularly anyone who may be from out of town). Saturday 4th - Gala dinner from 6.30pm on the Jack Manski Oval. The evening provides a 3 course dinner and drinks package (beer, wine and soft drink) and commemorative gifts for each attendee. Sunday 5th May - the is a recovery day at the Kirwan Sports Club beginning at 11am. Everyone is invited to attend, the day will include a morning of social lawn bowls, followed by a BBQ greenside.
