20.01.2022 JUNIORS: Today ends the journey for this season for some of our U 16s girls and families who joined our Brothers Sistas of Toowoomba. We would sincerely like to thank both our Clubs and Commitee of Brothers Ipswich and Brothers Toowoomba for all the support to make this possible. Special thanks to Michael Williams ,John Haywood , Junelle Richardson, Michael Cavanagh & Chris Pomfrett and to our coaches Kell Smith Steven Doyle. No amount of words can express our gratitude and... thanks to our girls and families of both clubs for all your dedication this season. We have clocked up the km's in the last few months, new experiences and new forever friends. Our girls finished the season off with a 50-8 win against Dalby. 16.01.2022 JUNIORS: Under 15 Match Report. Thanks to Glen for your words of encouragement for the boys this season Well Saturday was our late game for 2020 when Dalby hosted Brothers. I would like to thank the 3 boys from South Burnett boys Joey, Fletch and Danny along with the 3 Gatton lads Jake, Richy and Harrison and our Wattles import Daniel, without these young man we wouldn't have been able to field a team this year. The 7 boys I have name above helped the Brothers lads with co...nfidence and a will to improve themselves throughout the season. They have become apart of the Brothers family and will always remain a Leprechaun even if they return to there own clubs next year. I had so much pleasure coaching this group of young men and watching them improve individually and as a team. Saturday wasn't our best performance, our worm up was flat and that showed on the field. I really felt for the boys, as there was a feeling of this is our last game together as a playing group and the friendships that have formed over the last 10 or so were coming to a end. In saying this Dalby play a well rounded game with Brothers not being able to match Dalby in size or speed of play. Brothers tried hard to slow the onslaught down but Dalby's sheer size was hard to handle for the much smaller Brothers team. Dalby lead by 14 points at half time it was always going to be a mammoth task for our boys to come back. Although we posted the first points in the second half it was short lived as Dably ran away to a 44 to 14 win. I would hope Brothers could keep these boys together some how next year as this group has only just begun to connect and play some realy entertaining football. I would also like to thank all parents for their help and for trusting in me to coach such a wonderful group of young men. A big thanks go to Peter Birch for all his help in coaching the boys and I hope to see you all next season as the U16 coach. Coach Glen Moore
