We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable person for a permanent administrative assistant position in the Gunnedah office. The duties of the successful applicant are varied with administration duties including - Greeting customers on arrival/being first point of contact - Answering and directing phone calls - Booking jobs, scheduling technicians - Completing job cards and finalising invoices - General office assistance - Assisting with the accounting processes - Bookkeeping duties - Processing Wages The ideal applicant will have administrative experience, a high attention to detail and be highly organised. Versatility of tasks, good communication skills and sound computer skills are important to the role. Knowledge in the motor vehicle industry is desired but not essential as industry specific training will be provided. This is a permanent position. The duties of the successful applicant are include Managing the warehouse in accordance with best practice Recording daily deliveries and reconciling inventory using the Inventory Management Sys...tem Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracking orders and investigating problems. Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports. General stock control activities including shortages, discrepancies, queries and customer orders Greeting customers Answering and directing phone calls Booking jobs, scheduling technicians General office assistance The ideal applicant will ideally have had previous experience in warehousing, spare parts, or stock ordering. They will also be highly organised, have a high attention to detail, good communication skills and be highly competent on a computer.
