25.01.2022 There are days when it almost seems criminal to call this work... I had a friend I hadnt seen in years contact me and ask if Id consider taking her and her friends out to OReillys for the day... little did I know that I actually knew all of them! What was supposed to be work ended up being a mini reunion and an incredibly enjoyable day! 25.01.2022 Heres a question for all of you travellers out there... what if you had someone who would take you to, and pick you up from the airport for your holiday (me of course)?... But... what if that person could also house sit and watch your pets, property, gardens while youre gone... would that be something that people might consider a convenient service and potentially use?

22.01.2022 I didnt quite get the win last night, but with a category loaded with some of the nicest and kindest people around, its really no surprise What an honour it was to be nominated in my very first year of business! 19.01.2022 Hi all, I have a busy December ahead but have plenty of scattered availability left in the lead up to the New Year. If youre looking at heading away, need to get to/from your Christmas party or even need some larger presents etc collected for you, please dont hesitate to get in touch. Ive been fielding some questions lately about other transport providers that are offering super low prices and if I can match their prices... I answer this by saying firstly that I welcome ...competition if the playing field is even. Before purely thinking about the cost, ask yourself why its so cheap. Without casting aspersions, chances are that things arent quite by the book. If the driver doesnt display an Authorised Qld Taxi Driver licence, hold a valid Qld transport Drivers Authority, have a certificate of inspection completed within 12 months, AND hold a BEA (Booked Entity Authority: this allows them to legally take bookings and accept payments), then there are some serious laws being broken and insurance will be invalid. Please be aware of the service youre using and ask questions. Its yours and your familys welfare at stake after all. Thanks everyone See more

15.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I thought Id throw together a quick FAQ list that might help provide some answers. As Im often driving, I cant always respond in the timely manner I would like, so hopefully this makes things easier for some people: 1. How many passengers car you take? A= Maximum of 4 passengers plus plenty of luggage room.... 2. Do you have car seats (child restraints) available? A= No. However as per the same regulations as taxis and buses, we are exempt from the need to use them. Saying this though, if you would like to provide your own, then Im happy to oblige and fit it for you. I can even keep it safe for you at home to use on your return journey if the situation called for it. 3. Do you do pickups etc late at night/early morning? A= Yes. Anytime is a good time. It just pays to book these trips in advance so I can ensure my days are planned accordingly. 4. Can you move large furniture items? A= Yes, however I operate in the business alone, so Im more like a helping hand. I have the ute and trailer, but would need help to load/unload. During school holidays or after business hours, I do have options for providing an extra set of hands, but these are also better off being pre booked to allow time to sort this out. 5. Can I pay by card? A= Yes. You have a choice of cash or card (tap/insert/manual using Square). A receipt can be immediately sent via SMS or Email when paying by card. 6. How far is too far if I wanted to be driven a long distance? A= Basically anywhere is available for discussion. Providing there are no booking clashes, I would take you wherever you needed to go. Prices are very competitive when compared to other lower cost ride share alternatives. I hope these help. 05.01.2022 Ok... so this house sitting idea is gaining some traction... so here we go... If anyone would like to discuss the possibility of taking advantage of this service, Im open for discussions. Obviously its not a paid service, but the airport transfers (if needed) would still be charged as per normal. If the service proves popular, I guess the hardest part would be if multiple people wanted me to house sit at the same time, but I could probably develop a network of local, truste...d, experienced house sitters over time. 03.01.2022 This morning I volunteered my services to a couple of local legends who are finding mobility to be a bit more difficult these days. With help from my son Lucas, we drove these 2 veterans, Max aged 96 and Bill aged 85, to and from both the Dawn and 8am services at Mt Ommaney. It was a memorable morning and made both of us very happy that we could help these guys out. 2 of the nicest people you could possibly meet and we now have 2 more heroes in our lives. What a fantastic morning. Endless praise to all involved in organising the events today, you should all be very proud. The veterans have nothing but praise also. Lest we forget.
