22.01.2022 Thank you to all of our friends who have shared such warmth and kindness after learning of the passing of our old girl 'Lucy'. At 18 and a half years old, Lucy enjoyed a great life well lived and much pampered. Rest in Peace Lucy Lou, your old mate Max is waiting for you! X

15.01.2022 I had the great pleasure this week of opening the new factory for Hysport and their merinosnug range. Great to see small business investing in local jobs and Australian manufacturing.
14.01.2022 The Anzac Day commemorative services across the electorate of Dunkley were moving, sincere and engaging. It was an honour to attend and be involved.
14.01.2022 Congratulations to four local schools who will share $13,000 in funding from the Turnbull Governments Saluting Their Service program. Ballam Park Primary School, Frankston High School, Karingal Primary School, McClelland College and St Judes Parish Primary School all successfully applied for grants to install a memorial stone and plaque to pay homage to our veterans. As the former Minister for Veterans Affairs I am proud to see our local school promoting an appreciation an...d understanding of the role our ex-servicemen and women played in wars, conflicts and peace keeping operations. http://www.brucebillson.com.au//schools-remember-our-serv/
14.01.2022 Our Anzacs sacrificed much for our freedom. Today we recognise their contribution, the broader veteran community and our serving men and women and their families. Thank you to each and every one of you for all that you have done- and do.
13.01.2022 The Australian Government Harmony Day is today, 21 March. It is a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home - from the traditional owners of this land to those who have come from many countries around the world. By participating in Harmony Day activities, we can learn and understand how all Australians from diverse backgrounds equally belong to this nation. http://www.harmony.gov.au/
13.01.2022 I would like to thank everyone for all your kind words of support and encouragement. I continue to love every minute of my 20+ years in public life and am proud that the Dunkley electorate is 'Positive, Passionate and Persistent'. I have included the link to my valedictory speech in case you missed it.
12.01.2022 Community based action is central to tackling the drug Ice. As a community representative and father, I continue to be deeply concerned about the impacts of the drug ice and the pressure it is putting on users, local families, our frontline workers and treatment facilities. I am actively participating at the Frankston Ice Forum to be held on the 27th of April. ... More information can be found at: http://bit.ly/1SzwOKY
12.01.2022 Lots of fun and activity at Netball MPNA Mornington Netball #goyabbies
10.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who attended last night's 'What's the story with ice?' forum at Peninsula City Church . Representatives from Peninsula Voice, Frankston City Council, Australian Drug Foundation, Family Drug Support, Victoria Police and Dr Stephen Bright from Curtin University were all involved. These experts and a brave family member provided valuable insights which the Cwth Gov't will use to inform its response locally.

08.01.2022 Last night in the House I gave an update on the rollout of the NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme - one of the most significant social reforms for a generation. Around 460,000 Australians are expected to be eligible for support on completion of the rollout. You can watch my update here: http://bit.ly/26MHVaZ
08.01.2022 Its great to see Chris, Grace and Yasmin out and about in Dunkley. To choose our community as the place to raise their family was an inspired choice but a very logical one given all the great things about our community, including the natural environment. For Chris and his family to not only choose our community as their home but to take the bold and selfless step of committing themselves to public life and service to our community is an inspiration!... Theres lots to love about our community and to see Chris is working to nurture these many positives and working to support more opportunities for local residents and businesses.
08.01.2022 Received such a warm and generous farewell from the Speaker of the House Tony Smith today at Question Time...complete with fantastic photo bomb by Julie Bishop . Thanks to my bodacious wife Kate and micro humans for being with me. It has been such an honour to serve.
07.01.2022 Frankston was the second most searched suburb for real estate in Victoria in 2015. It's a credit to all those who have worked hard to improve the local area to attract investment. http://www.realestate.com.au//where-do-australians-really/

The public hearing is an opportunity for service providers, participants, their nominees, carers and family to share their experience and insights with the Parliament so we can learn from the trial. 01.01.2022 It was fantastic to unveil a series of commemorative signs at the Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve with the green army and Chris Crewther - Liberal for Dunkley. The signs explain the rich military history of the area before it became a reserve: Light-horse military training groups, army training facilities, a military hospital and internment camp.
