22.01.2022 Commenced work to get a 1974 Baravan Princess ready for its first outing in 3 weeks. Fitted new window rubber to two windows, replaced a lot of broken rivets, repaired window stay on rear window, fitted new towels rails front and rear, re-fitted original name badge to front and removed damaged sheeting from one wall in preparation for re-sheeting.

21.01.2022 I haven't posted anything for a few weeks. Following a wet February the last couple of weeks have been very busy continuing work on the York, carrying out some maintenance on a Jayco StarCraft, commencing working on a 1973 Viscount Royal and commencing some work on a 1974 Baravan.

21.01.2022 To my customers and Facebook followers have a safe and Merry Christmas. For those who are travelling, I wish safe travels and relaxing break. Looking forward to continuing to support fellow caravaners in the New Year with a couple of exciting projects starting/continuing.

21.01.2022 Commenced work on Bluebelle, a 1973 Viscount Royal, by fitting tinted acrylic sheet to the rear windows and refitting the window to the van, have commenced cleaning the roof seams to reseal to address some major water leaks. Lots of work to be done here including re-sheeting the ceiling and one wall.

21.01.2022 Had a productive week last week with further progress on the York. Door frame trued at the bottom, checker plate finished on the door side and roof trim refitted including new aluminium angle to replace the missing trim.

19.01.2022 Murtle (as in turtle) is a 2003 Majestic and just got an update with a new benchtop with a Dometic 2 burner cook top and a Dometic sink.. Even managed to make a small storage area where the grill door was. Murtle also got a new custom built trifold table for the dining area. This opens up the seating and has storage space built into the stand.

19.01.2022 Great progress on the 1974 Baravan Princess. Foilboard insulation installed and new Poly ply fitted to the walls. A big difference.

14.01.2022 Did some maintenance on a 1997 Jayco StarCraft - Roof reseal to address water leaks and replaced broken bracket.

08.01.2022 Work on the York continues with all of the louvre windows refurbished, new acrylic sheet fitted and the windows refitted to the van. Have also cleaned and resealed the roof line ready to refit the trim. Checker plate is being fitted to the lower sides as well.

07.01.2022 Whilst working on Murtle I have been driving past a large Viscount in a yard nearby. This afternoon I stopped and asked if I could take a photo of it. The owner was very obliging and said yes and encouraged me to have a look inside as well. I asked what length the van was and the owner said 40 feet.... I have included some photos. WARNING this is not a caravan for the faint hearted.

03.01.2022 Alvin has had a facelift inside to go with the external paint job. A nice full gloss white replaces the hard to clean flat finish and cordless venetian blinds replace the dark curtains.

01.01.2022 Been working on something a bit different on and off for the last couple of weeks - a gooseneck horse float that was in need of some TLC. Removing a drawer to make room for a larger fridge, setting up a table that can be converted to a bed, refitting some cupboard doors with better hinges, tidying up the plumbing for the water tanks underneath, making repairs to the awning including replacing a broken spring assembly and replacing a bent leg, fitting a new battery and tidying up the 12v system, plus a number of other things.
