25.01.2022 [KIT KAT CARAMEL CRISP] Nestle has been on fire all year with their new flavours - Hazelnutty, Gold Crisp, not to mention the international flavours... Lotus Biscoff . This one, I must admit, took my by surprise... not the taste, but it’s arrival! Like, a few boxes just showed up to the shop a few days ago... I didn’t even know it was coming, or that it had even been invented! . Well... now that it’s here, I thought I’d give it a whirl ... and let me tell you, these guys... could split white/gold choc a million different ways, and I’m just not sure that that could stuff it up! . The chocolate itself even LOOKS much better than it does on the pack (how often does that happen right?!). When I looked closer after the fact, I realised it is actually pictured like this: but it’s white choc underneath, but then a gold choc with toffee crisps ‘poured’ over the top - looks like the ice cream to the side . So yes, that gives away the taste... White/Gold choc flavour, wafer, and (I’m not even sure how these come through) Chips of toffee - they really do stick to your teeth, and add extra texture!! . Only good vibes about this chocolate today... perhaps it’s the coffee high I’m on... but perhaps it’s just tasty chocolate See more

25.01.2022 [LINDT HELLO] I love getting my hands on lines of chocolates that I’ve never had before, from companies that I know are 10/10. Case in point: Lindt blocks . These Hello blocks have been a hit in Europe (and have captured eyes online worldwide) mostly due to their cool flavours and packaging! . The packaging shows a very ‘cool & young’ look to Lindt that we’ve never seen before - perhaps trying to target a younger audience! The amazing thing here is that you can completely o...pen the pack up, and there the artwork continues on the inside of the wrapper (a slight change to the blank white we’re used to here!). . It IS a little Euro kitsch, with the sign ‘Hello’ having a speech bubble saying ‘nice to sweet you’ underneath... . Anyhow, as for the taste - it’s Lindt, it was NEVER going to be bad . . The blue one being crunchy nougat, is quite chocolately all the way through, with a caramel/nougat taste to it. The crunchy bits are like pieces of toffee brittle or something, and they’re my fav bit - makes me want a much bigger brittle! . The cookies and cream block is much more distinguishable once bitten into, and not only does it have crunchy cookie pieces, the overall flavour I get is that of a real cookie! Weird... haha . What’s your fav Lindt product?? Can’t go past a perfect Lindt ball I don’t think... See more

25.01.2022 [POP TARTS PUMPKIN PIE] I love when we get specialized, seasonal, stock - and these pumpkin pie flavoured Pop Tarts hit at the heart of that! . So, Halloween is over I hear you saying... but did you know that Thanks Giving is just around the corner?! . Correct me if I’m wrong, but even though us Aussies associate pumpkin spice with Halloween, it’s really more of a Thanks Giving flavour! (It’s ok, we are noobs after all... we’re not American - we just like to think that we... know everything about American culture ). . Anyhow, those Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Pie cookies went down very well... almost all too well - to the point where I’m not sure if I should be cracking a box of these @poptartsus . Like, my wife is going away for the night today... what happens if a quick snack turns into 16 pumpkin pie Pop Tarts for dinner??? (Given that this is a possibility, and there’s still a strong chance I might bring this on to myself... I’m glad she doesn’t read my posts ). Well... to keep it healthy, I might not bring home the whipped cream, and have it with some @fitlato instead! . . Tell me if you’ve had these before... I really think that the pumpkin flavour would do wonders for these (for example I like cinnamon flavoured ones, and they’re MUCH more subtle than a rich chocolate one which smacks you in the mouth with the sweetness!) . 24.01.2022 [PASCALL L&P LUMPS] ... this game is getting deeper and deeper... and personally, I’m loving it . . So, in Australia, we all grew up with the Pascall Pineapple Lumps. I get hit up by American snack accounts for these alllll the time. I mean, I’ve never had any complaints about these personally - I love em! . But, recently, my eyes have been opened to the wider world of @pascalllollies Lumps!... . It started with the NZ based Snifter Lumps. These are green, and minty. Based on the Snifter Lollies of times gone by - I never got the chance to try those - but anything mint + chocolate is a-ok by me! . . THEN I was rocked recently by seeing the Perky Nana Lumps! Based on the Chewy Banana flavoured Perky Nana - these are (as you can guess ) BANANA flavoured! They tasted rather chewier than the others, but then that texture was very suited to the texture of the chocolate, so it worked! (Or perhaps I just over-thought it... one or the other ). . NOW, present day, (this exact post!!) - we have Limited Edition Pascall L&P Flavoured Lumps!! . Based on the lemon-y flavoured New Zealand soda (think - refreshing and quenching lemon squash!) - these have a lemon flavour, that somewhat surprised me. . Firstly, they seemed rather soft, and the lemon taste didn’t actually kick in immediately! Initially, I thought that the taste was just weak... but after a couple, I realized that this was a sophisticated move! . Hear me out: if the flavour was immediate and extreme, you wouldn’t be able to eat too many of these. This way - the taste kicks in towards the second half of the first lump, and is constant through the other couple of handfuls you have (That’s standard right...? The pack isn’t that big, and it’s limited edition... it would be rude to not finish it! ). . Anyhow, my vote goes a bit like this: Snifter and L&P equal first, and Perky Nana and Pineapple equal second . . How many have you had? How do you rate them?! See more

23.01.2022 [KEY LIME OIE M&M’S] AKA the ones that got away from me . . Good for you guys, not so great for me . These are a new flavour in the M&M’S limited edition range, and we got some for our latest release . . Every now and again, I get so stuck in to doing the work on the release, I forget to put snacks aside for myself (In b4 the rants: yes, I get the stock, I see it all, decide what I’m eating, and then put the rest online - I do the hard work, so I get first dibs - if ...you don’t like that... then... suckstobeyou ). These were one of those items that I forgot to put aside . . They’re white chocolate M&M’s with Key Lime flavour... who ever gets these in their delivery this week - please speak up, so I know what they were like . . We should hopefully have more in stock soon, so I (along with everyone else that didn’t get them in round 1) can try them . . Have an awesome Sunday evening See more

23.01.2022 [ALLEN’S & OAK] One of my all time favourite things is funky partnerships - and this snack has that down pat! . I’ve always studied business, and have enjoyed reading about all of the different ways that two people / companies / brands / etc can get together, and use each others medium to attract customers for a mutual benefit! . Ok, that sounds too technical even for me: two people getting together to do cool s#|7 that you wouldn’t normally expect to see, that’s what I’m tal...king about! . Allen’s and Oak probably have the same customers (or a big overlap at least!), and so why not combine forces and give people a taste of both brands in the one product?! Bring in the ol’ humble milk bottle into the spot light... . Here, they’ve created two sets of lolly bags: one with flavoured milks bottles, and the other with iced coffee bottles! I’m actually really drawn to the iced coffee ones immediately... (perhaps it’s the fact that I don’t like flavoured milk, and yet I smash coffee... perhaps it’s the monotone colouring of the bottles that has me jazzed up... ). . I dug into the iced coffee pack after a long night... strong coffee smell, but equally mixed with the smell of the old-school milk bottles! . The taste was not quite as expected. There were defs flavours of iced coffee after a few bottles, but the taste of the old school milk bottles really did override everything. . I did enjoy these (I mean, I couldn’t not try them - check out how good they look ), and might dig back into the pack tomorrow, but probs wouldn’t rush out to hoard-buy them! . I’d be interested to try the flavoured milk bottles now to see if the flavours really do differ! Let me know if you have already tried, and what you though?! . I wonder if Oak will now go and do funky milk flavours... oh, wait... too late (Sorry fam, but pineapple milk is not something I will be taste testing ). See more

23.01.2022 [PUMPKIN PIE KIT KAT] Talk about a staple of the Halloween / Autumn season in the US - it’s ALLLLL things pumpkin ! . Do I like pumpkin or pumpkin spice? I really don’t think I do... I’ve only just come around to even eating pumpkin in recent years, so go easy on me! . Do I like seeing all of these products in pumpkin flavour though...? ABSOLUTELY! I don’t know why, but I think it all looks cool! ... . So, let’s just firstly acknowledge how cool this pack looks! Not only the colours on the outside, but the Kit Kat fingers on the inside come in 3 different autumn/pumpkin shades, which gets 10/10 on design cues . . I did not have to get very far with these to give me other senses pumpkin vibes... the bag itself smells like pumpkin (...and a heavy dose of plastic! ). As soon as you crack a stick open, it’s pumpkin allllllll up in your nose! . I chucked one in my mouth, and whilst it took a few chews for the taste to set in... once it did, it was there, and in droves! . The flavour is sooo spot on - how do they do it?!? The wafer works so well with the flavour to - just very complimentary to the spiced pumpkin tones . . I had to eat two sticks to make sure to make sure what I thought... but then it was definitive... I hate pumpkin spice Kit Kat’s!! . It just reminded me of drinking a strongly flavoured pumpkin spice latte the whole time... so it didn’t help that I was chasing it with a Boss coffee . . The reason I’m torn here, is that I think these Kit Kat’s are phenomenal for what they are... but just defs not for me . There’ll be no hoarding these... they’ll all go to sale! . What’s the funkiest Kit Kat taste you’ve had?? See more

21.01.2022 [DUPLO COCONUT] Now for something completely new, and released in a limited capacity for the European summer - I mean, what else screams ‘summer vibes’ like coconut? Not much! . For me, the best is the coconut smell of the tanning oils used all throughout European beaches... (I mean, I’m sure they’re all UV protected, and ONLY used when the sun is not dangerous...and all things sun safe...... we’re just not in Europe are we...? ). Anyhow, now that we’ve all reminisced, ba...ck to the review! . You all know how I feel about Duplo, and Ferrero more broadly for that matter! These guys can do no wrong... and this product was just one more chance for them to prove themselves... they haven’t failed . . I’ll be upfront here, and go on a major limb - this is my current favourite Duplo flavour out! . There was just something about the softness of the milk chocolate, teamed up with the thin crisp wafers... and the aftertaste of coconut coming through... . I honestly didn’t expect to like this as much, especially after having eaten the Duplo White which is a rare delicacy of its own! . The nice thing about the coconut taste is that it’s not so powerful that it overrides the Duplo itself, but it’s more a subtle flavour that takes a little while to kick in, and then is constantly there in the background (I keep thinking of someone having cooked a Duplo in coconut oil... those that cook with coconut oil will know those feels... ). . Perhaps it’s just that I’m reminiscing on beach holidays, and perhaps I’m just forcing my mind to live in those memories... but whatever the case, I’m sticking with it, and with this coconut Duplo for the time being... I’ll let you know when I’ve had enough of that and I’m ready to be returned to cold CBR . Have you ever had a Duplo...? What did you think...? What’s your other fave coconut chocolate? See more

21.01.2022 [SOUR SKITTLES] How’s THIS as a sight for sore eyes on a Monday morning? #iykyk . Luckily for those that DO know what’s up, we’ve already lost the rest of the crowd that was like ‘Sour Skittles?! I can get these at Coles! Boring!’ . After fielding questions for weeks about the ‘sour Skittles with the powder still on them’, and GENUINELY believing that they had been dropped - I HAD to open this pack the other day, JUST IN CASE!... . Well... wouldn’t you know my luck?! upon cracking the pack - the answer & Joy were instantaneous... there I was, with a hand full of glorious, sour powder coated @skittles! . Interestingly, I had forgotten how hard and chewy they are! Needless to say, good times were had by all (and by all, I mean by me... because I ate them alone ). . I’ve now placed a big order for these... fingers crossed we continue to get powdered ones . Who else remembers these?! See more

21.01.2022 [CADBURY SCREME EGG] Get it...? Screme... not creme...? It’s Halloween...? oh man... sometimes you just need to amuse yourself amirite?!? . Well, I enjoyed it ! . But seriously - how coooool are these?! Released in the US as a Halloween special - I think they tie in perfectly for us Aussies - we already love the Easter edition, and besides, who’s complaining about getting these eggs TWICE per year?? Not me, that’s for sure .... . So, I understand the part where they don’t release them here - we don’t ‘technically’ celebrate Halloween - but do they USUALLY release the creme eggs in the US during Easter?? That’s seriously news to me... (Hold up - what’s Cadbury even DOING in the US?! I either haven’t had enough sleep, or I’m totally into something ). . Regardless - the taste WAS a bit diff to the Easter Creme Egg’s we’re used to getting here! I put this down to two things: 1. Being made for the US, the milk choc formula is different in itself 2. The creme just has a SLIGHTLY diff taste to it. I can’t quite put my finger on it... but it’s slightly diff! (Again, if I HAD tried an American Creme Egg - perhaps I’d be all like ‘nope, exactly the same, diff colour!’) . Regardless though, I think the colour is WICKED as, and it’s worth buying for that if no other reason (I don’t need extra excuses, I loooovvveeee creme eggs ). . Have you seen any other cool editions of these that I’ve missed?! Plz tell me ASAP See more

20.01.2022 [KNOPPERS]... but not just your average kind - I’m talking TWO new special editions: the coconut and the peanut bars! You know how we do... . Ok, so truth be told: I’ve known about @knoppers_de for a long time, but I’ve not been super intimate with their products at all! . Then, tonight, when someone described them to me as ‘a Ferrero Rocher in bar form’... I was instantly sold and had to have both of the flavours I had infront of me ... . Let’s stick with the Ferrero analogy, and just think about what that actually means... for me, it’s about a whole serious of ingredients that you love, but combined make a complex texture structure in your mouth! . Wow... ok, I even spaced myself out with those words (forgive me, it’s almost 2am, and I think I’m just in the zone ). What does that mean?! It means, that each part of this bar (or a Ferrero Rocher for that matter), is eaten in a different way! You have the smooth milk choc which you bite into but then melts. The wafers which are crunchy but easily break down, the caramel which is chewy and stringy, the peanuts which have to be crunched down, and then the coconut which has a texture of it msg own again - etc etc! It really does take your mouth for a ride! (Ferrero has the peanut, the chocolate, the wafer, the Nutella, the hazelnut!!! ). . The peanut bar doesn’t mention any salt - but let me tell you, these sneaky Germans stuck it in there anyways! You know why? Because they know that salted caramel is much better than regular! It only tends to come through on the back end of the chewing, but all of a sudden you go - oooo what’s that salty bit?! Haha. Add in big bits of chunky peanut, and a chocolate cream and peanut layer - I was sold . . The coconut flavour - now this was something that really hit the Euro summer big this year. We saw Coconut in everything from Ritter Sport, to Ferrero, to these Knoppers! It’s a fascinating element, for texture as well as taste! The taste is somewhat subtle, but it really permeates throughout - sort of like cooking with coconut oil - it doesn’t give the dish its MAIN flavour, but you definitely don’t forget you’re eating something cooked in coconut oil!! 20.01.2022 [HERSHEY’S] Hey! Gather round, gather round... check out the new bar: white Hershey’s with WHOLE almonds . Hats off to the @hersheys company for taking this next step up, because using WHOLE almonds in a chocolate bar is actually quite a step up from what we normally get! Honestly, short of the Ritter Sport guys, I can’t think of anyone that’s doing this?! . Further - doesn’t this bar just LOOK the bomb? Perhaps it’s because I’m so used to seeing the brown packaging of ...a Hershey’s, but the stark white with gold highlights makes this bar look like a million dollars! . Now, on to the important part: the taste . As soon as I took the bar out and put it to my nose, all I could think was: Hershey’s Cookies & Cream bar! Then it dawned on me... YES, of course! It’s the same white choc taste that I’ve grown to love in those bars (amongst my fav in the Hershey’s range!), but instead of cookies, it has almonds! Was that fact so obvious to everyone?? Like, am I the only one who thinks that ‘cookies & cream’ is a flavour all of its own?? . To get to the point - yes, exact same creamy white choc taste now... take out the choc cookies and add dark roasted almonds - friggin delicious!! Being that the almonds are whole, the crunch lasts longer, and turns this bar into something exquisite! This one is now amongst my top Hershey’s See more

19.01.2022 [REESE’S PUMPKIN] ...with PIECES! . Ok, I can’t help myself, but I realllyyyy need to drill this message in: holiday treats, are the BEST treats!! (If you don’t agree... fight me!... in the comments... I’m weak in real life ) . Ok, evidence #1: look at how thicccckkkkkkkk that pumpkin is.... Honestly, the chocolate / peanut butter quantity and ratio on these pumpkins is next level You can immediately see that you’re getting more, and it just fills the gob that much... better . Note: ONE pumpkin is about the same weight as TWO Reese’s Cups . . The second article of evidence: the Reese’s Pieces inside the pumpkin . For those that watched me eat this in my stories, you’ll know that they caught me off guard. I knew how good the pumpkin was going to be, but thought that the pieces might just be a tiny bonus: nope, I was wrong! Those pieces DEFS deserve their own individual appreciation! . The pieces (which can be purchased separately as Reese’s Pieces - are like M&M’s, but there’s no chocolate, and instead the filling is Reese’s Peanut Butter! ), being encased in that chocolate, have obviously softened up a little, and even though their shell is crispy, it easily breaks - and the peanut butter inside is Devine! . Anyhow, there was much silence in my tasting... just much appreciation of the greatness of these pumpkins . . What’s your fav holiday treat?! See more

19.01.2022 [KIT KAT WHITE]... . The real MVP of my snacks yesterday - this white beauty . . I do sometimes go on about this a little - but how great is this packaging?? Perhaps it’s because I’m used to seeing the packaging in red, but the white is so crisp and clean! ... . There’s nothing super fancy or surprising about this chocolate - it’s the classic Kit Kat wafer that we know, covered in a delicious white choc ... I said it wasn’t surprising, defs didn’t say it wasn’t overly delicious - because it is! . I’m caught in a bind here... these are hard to get, and those that buy them, only ever buy them in multiples: 4,6,12! So, do I really let everyone in on the secret of their greatness and risk selling out immediately, or do I keep it to myself, and ride off into the sunset eating them... . Well... . That’s all I’ve got to say... haha! . What’s your fav Kit Kat flavour of all time?! (There’s defs been a few...) See more

19.01.2022 [JOLLY RANCHER MISFITS] the new lineups continue - but wait there’s more - they’re also tastier . . Whilst I clearly like to test all types of treats, it’s no secret that gummies are not necessarily my favourite - I’m defs a chocolate kinda guy! . So, when something like this comes along, my mind goes to two places:... 1. How awesome does this look?! Then; 2. It’s probably not THAT great, and besides, how could it be better than an original Jolly Rancher? . Well, number one - it DOES look cool! The boldness of the cartoon fruit is a newer look for JR’s, and the fact that it’s half strawberry half lemon draws you in. . More importantly: the taste... wow. So soft and perfectly chewy, with such a strong flavour! Like, how do you get that much flavour inside of a gummy candy, without it just being ‘holy moly that was a lot of sugary sweetness’?! Well, I’m not scientists... but the flavours stood out ! . I’ve had Jolly Rancher gummies before, and they haven’t been a standout by any shot, but for the moment - I’d totally choose these over the original hard candy! (Big call I know ) See more

19.01.2022 [KIT KAT DUOS - MINT + DARK CHOCOLATE] I don’t know about you guys, but Kit Kat have been on such a roll - like, worldwide! Whether the Middle East, or America, or Australia - Kit Kat has been absolutely KILLING it with all of their new releases! . This is one of the latest installments out of the US, in their ‘duos’ range, where they pair two flavours. This particular flavour, mint and dark choc, I’m quit excited about - because I just luurrrvvvve mint and chocolate . . ...Before I talk about the flavour itself, let’s talk about the sizing: this one being king size. Seriously, it only seems marginally bigger, and the cost is often very little in between, but you should remember to ALWAYA upgrade to the king size if you can! It doesn’t feel like you’re going ‘all the way’ by having to eat an entire block (the best upgrade ), but is SO much more satisfying than a standard size bar . Bit of an aside there, but an important PSA . . Now - the taste! Immediately out of the pack, the mint smell was strong - and actually quite ‘sharp’! . The taste of this was exactly as described (go figure ): quite a sharp/strong mint flavour, with an equally sharp dark chocolate. . Mint is very often paired with dark chocolate, as a more ‘sophisticated’ flavour and treat offering, but I ask you this: whyyyyyy??? . This chocolate was good, and the mint+dark DOES work, but I would just love it if it was creamy mint with MILK choc! A treat is a treat, and when you’re eating these, you’re eating chocolate! So, let’s just cut to the chase, stop pretending to be ‘healthy’... and just give us the milk chocolate plz! . That’s my only qualm if I just have one . What’s your ALL TIME mint+choc combo?! See more

18.01.2022 [SNICKERS PEANUT BROWNIE] New to us from the US, we have these Brownie filled Snickers . . So, what we have here: instead of the nougat, this Snickers has a BROWNIE base . On top of that, not only is there a layer of caramel, but instead of being trapped in the caramel alone, the peanuts are bigger, and spread through the brownie! . The peanuts being spread out seems trivial, but texture wise - it’s actually huge! The peanuts inside a @snickers bar are coated in / surround...ed by the caramel, which changes their form a little, and gives them a completely different crunch quality... these are loose, and only in brownie - so they’re crunchier ! . The caramel on its own also felt quite soft and very delicious (I can never decide on these new-new snacks whether this is just because they’re so fresh ). . Dividing it into 4 squares also helps... forces you to actually take breaths between servings... so that it’s not finished before you’ve started See more

18.01.2022 [MONSTER JAVA] You want energy, you want it cold and ready to go in a can, but... you don’t like fizzy drinks?? Never fear, Monster Java is here (infomercial peeps, just slide into my DM’s, I’ve got that smooth sale talk for dayzzzz! ). . What, that wasn’t enough...? You haven’t left the post to buy Monster Java’s by the pallet?! (You’re ruining it for me with the infomercial guys mannnn ). . So, we’ve had Java Monsters in stock for a while now, in up to as many as about ...8 flavours, but the Swiss Chocolate one is part of our latest range (including ‘Farmers Oats’ - being an oat milk variant! @monsterenergygirls has everyone covered man... ). . Tonight I wanted a little kick to do some work, but didn’t feel like a fizzy drink (I wanted to eat a peanut buttery bar, so coffee sounded like a better idea... but I don’t have a coffee machine here ) - BOOM welcome @javamonster !! . This can not only sounds good - but looks wicked! I couldn’t get a shot of it showing all around, but it has all of these flags, a big mountain in the back ground, and has a super chalet, winter, Alp-like, Swiss feel! . Ok ok to the taste: the first thing I noticed about this one was just how thick it was! The taste was chocolate, and it was not to be differentiated from a barely-melted (cold)hot chocolate! There was no coffee taste, and no form of after taste... just a thick chocolate milk... magic... . Whilst it’s not a zero calorie Monster, it weirdly has MORE caffeine content than a ‘regular’ fizzy ‘Monster’... go figure See more

18.01.2022 [WHITTAKER’S] These guys have a very extensive list of very special flavours, but this one totally caught my eye, especially give the range of flavours coming out this year! . Caramelised White chocolate with gingerbread biscuit - basically two flavours that I’ve grown to love a lot over the past year . With all of the choc over Christmas that came through with gingerbread biscuit in it, and the Caramilk chocolates of the world - this seemed like a hole in one!... . Ok, can I just spoil it here - it was. It was totally a hole in one . . The smell was caramelised chocolate, and in a strong way - I could just tell it was going to be good from the get go! . The gingerbread was so present as soon as I put this block in my mouth! The cookie pieces were reasonably large and very crunchy - just like a traditional cookie (one that’s almost been open and in the jar for a week - the perfect consistency for a classic gingerbread ). . I’m going out on a limb here, and suggesting that this is perhaps what the Hokey Pokey should have had in it . Cadbury should have paired the good CARAMELISED chocolate with gingerbread biscuit! . . Don’t get me wrong, the Hokey Pokey is pretty great as it is (just ask everyone that’s tried it ), but the gingerbread may have edged it a few points higher! (Christmas time perhaps @cadburyaust ...? Just an idea! ). . The Cadbury does win with the creamier choc, and the thickness... it’s just indulgent! This has an aura of sophistication - I mean, just look at the packaging! . If you get to try both - let me know how you think they compare! See more

17.01.2022 [JAPANESE CHEETOS] No, I can’t read the writing. No, I don’t know what it says. No, they weren’t quite as described. Read on to find out what I thought... . I just love foreign snacks... America, Europe, New Zealand, Japan! Not because they’re always so much better, but because there’s an aura of the ‘unknown’! . These were gifted to me by @thesnackcontroller (because the Controller is the bomb!). So, in saying that - it also means that these aren’t on the website, and I do...n’t have them for sale So, don’t be offended if I don’t keep responding to your msgs of ‘I can’t find a them on your website... blah blah’ . The Controller described these to me as ‘KFC Zinger flavour’. I took one single look at the packet, and I was like SOLDDDDD! . However, as soon as I opened the pack, a huge smell came out... and it was glorious! It didn’t smell like Zinger though... but I couldn’t pin point exactly what it was! . I tasted a few, and the spice came through after about 2-3, but still the exact taste/smell wasn’t coming to me... all of a sudden it hit me... . Mi Goreng!!! The flavour sachets of mi goreng noodles, that was IT!! . From that point on, I was only more and more hooked on these... till I realised they were long gone, and I needed to find me a Japanese supplier... hahaha! . If you can get your hands on these, do yourself a favour, and absolutely get them!! . A new favourite of mine, and going straight to the tops of the Cheeto charts (next to American flamin hot, and chipotle flamin hot... ) . What’s your favourite Cheeto of all time?! See more

17.01.2022 [PRINGLES SALTED EGG] ... if you’ve never had this flavour before... trust me, I know what you’re thinking... . I know, because I was you about a year or so ago! Hear me out: . I travelled to Singapore (yes, remember the good old days - travel! ), and EVERYONE in the airport had these yellow bags for ‘Irwins’ chips.... . I found the stand, and there they were - THE chips! Oh what... SALTED EGG chips?! . I was like... nahhhhh. Then I walked around and kept seeing them, and eventually thought ‘how bad could egg taste anyways?!! It’s not exactly artichoke or something ’. . Long story short: WOWWWZERSSSS! Amazing! . Fast forward to getting these Pringle’s - I was excited by them at first, but still kept them at bay for a week or so. . (Ok getting sick of my own long winded story here - cutting out paragraphs...) Fast forward you: . Had the Pringle’s, and wowwww! Haha. I would say that they were ‘Irwin’s Chips Good’ (because those were really top shelf!), but these were about as close as I’ve had! Really hit the spot, and would hit them again and again! . Who else has had Salted Egg snacks?! Any other good recommendations?? See more

17.01.2022 [CADBURY GINGERBREAD BISCUIT] This is such a Euro flavour, that I still can’t believe it exists in Cadbury form, even though it’s in my hot little hand! (Disclaimer: my hand is in fact not hot. No fever. Defs no Covid . I’m actually sitting outside as I write this, and it’s getting a little bit cold! But perhaps I’m getting off topic now... ). . I love a good snack surprise, and the biggest surprise with this one was... well, it’s existence! The first I heard of this block... when I saw it on a suppliers listing with no photo! It was too good to be true, and it was expensive as hell, so I decided... I’ll limit this to 100 blocks only . . I started researching - and sure enough, I saw the mock-ups! Still didn’t expect it to arrive... . Anyways, clearly it did . . Cracking it open, all I could smell was a traditionally Euro Speculoos smell that you’d normally get from a Ritter Sport Speculoos block, or a Lotus filled milk chocolate... surely it couldn’t be quite like that with this one.... . I won’t make you wait for the verdict: it was EXACTLY like those blocks! It was so amazing, so delicious, so... un-Cadbury! . Was I more surprised and puzzled or just delighted?! I still haven’t answered that for myself, but I’m not questioning it for the moment, and just relishing in its sophisticated deliciousness . . Think: the creamy milk chocolate that we all know from @cadburyaust mixed with big biscuit chunks from plain Lotus biscuits (very northern-Europe-winter vibes! ). . Luckily for all of us, this is an Aussie release, and will (soon...? ) be found in all supermarkets I’m sure! (For those that are impatient can’t find it on our website of course ). . What’s your favourite all-time Cadbury block?? See more

15.01.2022 [TERRY’S] Terry’s Chocolate Orange RANGEEEE (remember when all it was was just a single products - the Orange...? I mean, that still one of the coolest concepts in store-shelf chocolates!) has been making quite a feature on our page in recent times... I mean, how do we NOT with all of the cool products they’ve released?! . So, whilst I have to give the ‘coolest release’ award to the whole white orange (I think you would too... as far as cool concepts go... it’s a WHOLE orange... that splits into slices!!! ), these would receive the award as the best, most conventional, way of eating the classic Terry’s. . I’ve had the original milk before, so it was time to try one of the other two blocks... here I took @emily_fairhurstfood ‘s lead - she says that the biscuit bar is one of the best bars released in recent times (and if you see how much good chocolate she eats, you’d probably take her lead too... ). . Based on the picture, I expected the milk chocolate with chunks of biscuit randomly throughout - but it wasn’t! . The entire bottom of the block was covered in little bubble chunks of ‘something’ which I expected to not be like biscuit at all... . Long story short, they DID taste like biscuit, and there was a lot more of it than I expected - double win! . Oops... it’s Sunday, and I’m late for a family function - so I’ll end this here . . Let me know if you’ve had this - or which Terry’s is your favourite! See more

13.01.2022 [JAVA CHIP OREO] Who could complain about yet another Oreo flavour? I think I could turn this page into an Oreo/M&M’s review page, and I’d be set . Straight off the bat, this one has to join the ranks of my top @Oreo lists... I mean really, how could it not... it’s COFFEE flavoured! . So, if you’ve been following my page for a minute, you’d know that the NUMBER ONE job these Oreos serve for me is... coffee dunking ... . So, with that in mind - the coffee on coffee combo, is wild . . The cream inside is Java Chip flavour (AKA Java coffee bean!), and when I tasted it live in the story, I could have sworn that the little specs inside were granules of coffee beans! I was in love! I then read (on the PACK duh) that they’re choc chip... but after several tastings... in still liking the coffee granule idea . I only got a pair of these packs in my last delivery... one was for me, but I did a giveaway with the other one (just so you don’t think I’m a COMPLETE hoarder ). . I won’t say much else for now... but, I can’t wait to get stock of these in a delivery very soon, to share with everyone See more

11.01.2022 [KEEBLER COOKIES] ... what... have... I... DONE?! . If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that one thing is true: the last thing I need in my life, is another snack addiction! . So, we got these cookies in recently, and I didn’t know much about the brand, so didn’t get super excited, and they’ve been waiting in the corner for a release to occur!... . I did like the fact that we had like 5-6 different flavours (because that’s just my thing - I want ALLL the variants ). . I went to have my coffee earlier today, and thought I’d crack out a good ol’ pack of @chipsahoy cookies - because they’re a tried and tested winner! Seeing these, I thought, well I SHOULD try them, so when they go live, I know what I’m talking about.... . That’s when everything started to go wrong... . Do me a favour and look at the pic: we all know that snacks never look like the cover, but aside from that , check out how chunky the chunks are?! . If you’ve never had these, but you’ve had Chips Ahoy cookies, then they probably look familiar: they really remind me of them, and have a not dissimilar texture to! . Ok, what am I saying in one simple sentence: These are GOOD !!! (I’m scared to put this out there... but dare I say... they’re better than Chips Ahoy cookies . Further testing to take place soon...). 10.01.2022 [REESE’S WHITE PUMPKINS] Halloween is coming... and some of the special products have landed . If you have ever watched any of my videos, or read any of my posts, you know one thing for sure: holiday chocolate just hits different!! . Several factors to this... firstly, just look at those cute shapes, and revived packaging... the pumpkin looks so friendly, and is basically begging for you to take a bite (much friendlier than the actual pumpkin I ate for lunch! ).... . More importantly though, behind all of the glitz and glamour of seasonal packaging, the underlying point is this: the Reese’s are ALWAYS thicccccker in seasonal shapes . Those that remember the Tree’s over Christmas, or Egg’s over Easter... are really pissed at me for letting this secret out! (we’ve tried getting stacks of these fam, hopefully there’s enough for all ). . I ate it live in my stories... but the excitement was bursting at the seams... (that kind of makes it worse sometimes, because you’re set up to be let down!). It didn’t disappoint... the satisfaction was instant... . What’s your favourite seasonal choc?! See more

09.01.2022 [BOSS VANILLA LATTE] If you’ve been watching my stories for a while now, you probably know that I have a Boss like... every afternoon (ok, ok... if you’ve EVER seen ANY of my stories, you’ve probably seen me holding a Boss ). . This kid is as loyal to the Boss can as loyal as a boss can. (Pardon the lame jokes... it’s 2.30am, and it’s all I’ve got ). Seriously though, @suntorybosscoffeeanz needs to step up and start sponsoring me (*cough cough* ). . Soooooo - you ...can imagine my excitement when I heard about the new flavour coming through . . Prior to having one of these, I was never really into iced coffee, and I had most definitively never had it out of a can ! I gave it a shot one day (mind the pun ), and I was instantly hooked! It didn’t have the super sugary taste of most iced coffees, and in fact, it’s sugar free, and practically calorie free too! (Fitness fam, listen up!) . The long black is one that I’ll drink when I don’t have access to the latte, but that latter is defs a preference (just not as bitter, and smoother for me!). . So, the vanilla was put in my hands... what was I to do?? Chill it and smash it with a snack ofcourse . Having long been a fan of the latte version, there was a lot at stake here... . The vanilla actually has slightly more calories than the latte, and I was expecting it to be sweeter. It surprised me here, as it actually tasted milder! The taste wasn’t as sweet at all, but the vanilla was definitely present on the back end! . Overall, I would say that it comes close to the latte for me... but for now, whilst this is close second, I think I still hold the latte in number 1 position! . This isn’t releasing till October some time, but you can bet your sweet behind that I twisted the reps arm into a few sneaky cans (for those desperate fiends like me) to be found on the website (no one tell the company though, because we’ll all get in trouble . For real though...). . Let me know which one is your fav and why! See more

09.01.2022 [SNIFTERS LUMPS] There’s something so appetizing about this bag... perhaps because it looks minty, perhaps because it’s so familiar but it’s not pineapple lumps... perhaps because I’m just keen to know what SNIFTERS are!? . As you’d know (if you’d picked up on my obsession) - I love having a products WHOLE range - I like having ALL the Pop Tart flavours, or EVERY M&M available... Not that it’s been at all possible during covid, so that’s doing my head in . . ANYWAYS - the ...point I was getting to WAS: I always thought pineapple lumps to be a one-off product, nothing else like them! Until I saw these... . . I was like ‘ummm what are those green pineapple lump things?!’... and here we are . . I must admit, I had to Google Snifters... and I also appreciate everyone’s DM to my story - I totally had no idea anyone had even tried them this century . . So, picture a Jaffa, but green... mint, with a dark choc inner, and a chewy mint Centre! The jury is still out on whether these lumps taste anything like the original candy... but here we are - minty lumps! . Long story short - these did have the exact texture of pineapple lumps (albeit stale ones ), but with a mint aftertaste! . At first it’s like ‘yeh... no big deal’. Then... three quarters of a bag later, it’s like ‘ok ok... I guess I kind of DO like them’ . . I’m trying to think of what the minty texture and taste is like, and the closest I can get to, is a mix between a fresh White Knight and a stale Mint Pattie... who knew there’d be a segment in between?! . Who’s a fan of mint?! See more

07.01.2022 [HAPPY HIPPO’S] ...also known as - the best Kinder chocolate of all time!! Ok, so perhaps I said that... but I defs wouldn’t be the only one! . These little parcels of goodness aren’t new, and they’re actually not even American! They’ve been around for a long time (just not in Australia officially ), and Kinder is a European company, so whilst they may be IN the US, they’re a Euro product (someone please explain it to me - they started in Italy, but went to Germany, an...d now they’re a Swiss company...? Am I getting close...? ). . Anyhow, one thing I DO know about, is that they’re delicious! Kinder Surprises are good, but unless you’re 3yrs old and willing to trade in your trike to find out what toy is in that plastic egg, they ain’t for you! Kinder blocks are also GREAT, but the flavour is a bit simple and slightly dry. Bueno’s are probably the most sophisticated chocolate of the bunch, and I have no downsides to mention about those! The thing that make the Hippo better though is the softness of the uncoated chocolate, the unique Euro blend of the gooey chocolate insides, and... basically... that shape! . Ok, I need to stop going on about these in an unhelpful fashion: soft biscuit, filled with a (Euro-version) Bueno-like Cream, with some soft choc chips along the belly. . Eat one ASAP. Thank me later. See more

07.01.2022 [PERKY NANA] Choices choices... if you know me, then you’d know that I like trying to get ALL the snacks that belong to a particular range . Do you prefer having all of the choices, or are you too indecisive with those kinds of scenarios? . Anyhow, this month was a good one for me, and everyone who likes the original Perky Nana! On the one hand, we FINALLY got our hands on the Perky Nana Lumps, and then... Cadbury released a Perky Nana block for distribution in AUSTRA...LIA! Whaaaaat?! Can you do that with the Caramilk Hokey Pokey now plz @cadburyaust ? Ok, that’s all my requests for today . . For those that have never had a Perky Nana before, let me squash some myths - it is NOT an old-school hard-marshmallow banana lollie from those old mix bags... it’s chewy/squishy/stretchy... . The easiest thing to relate it to is Pineapple Lumps . Think about how they get chewy... well, THESE lumps are EXACTLY that, but with a fake banana taste instead of the fake pineapple taste . . Note... no one here is dissing the ‘fake’ taste... it’s a good one (yes, there are lovers of many fake tastes - fake cherry anyone?! Exactly... I knew you were there ). . The block is one I was quite keen for - Cadbury has amazing milk choc, and the filling on this one is mega good! (Big clap for Cadbury Aus from the get-go here ). . Whilst the bar and the lumps are very similar to each other (the lumps have the SLIGHTEST bit more chocolate, given that they’re cut and have choc on the ends ) - but the block changes it up - the banana to chocolate ratio is reversed! Whilst the lumps and bar have stacks of pineapple with a bit of choc, the block is stacks of choc with less banana. . Honestly, I think I was really hankering for some choc this arvo, so it came out on top this time . Have you had the chance to try them all? Which one came out on top for you...? See more

07.01.2022 [YORK PATTIE] Yet another installment in the series of ‘oh man, how I love mint chocolate’ . There’s the good, the bad, and all the ones in between which ‘will do’ when there’s a desperate need and nothing else to turn to . This one, is DEFS in the good category! . In short, if you enjoy a mint pattie, you will LOVE the York ... . Picture a mint pattie, but the mint is a bit creamier, and melts in your mouth just so... . Excuse me whilst I wipe up my drool . . Look, I really would prefer to cut this post short as these are a well hidden secret, and there’s no need to let everyone in to the goodness . Those who know, most definitely know, and don’t leave the store without grabbing a few on their way out (and as far as I’m concerned, that’s enough people stealing my York Patties as it is! ). . Tell me which other mint chocolate I should try... See more

06.01.2022 [REESE’S FRANKEN-CUP] Thank goodness for Halloween and the creativity of the Reese’s company - look at these!! What a great idea . . It’s not secret that I like holiday edition candy - Ike number 1: holiday candy ALWAYS tastes better (defs have a read of my Pumpkin review ). . These are not as loaded as the pumpkins, but what they lack in girth, they make up for in colour... when’s the last time you ate GREEN chocolate?? ... . We also need to pay credit to the design team - we all know that the Reese’s cups get those little jagged ridges along the side due to the wrapper - and what better representation of Frankenstein have you seen?? Genius... . Now, I know you all want to know about the taste - is green, it HAS to taste different... ok, so it says it’s just milk chocolate, but surely... it says that it’s just green COLOURED creme, but it must... . My answer: there is defs a different taste to the green! My mind keeps playing tricks on me, telling me that there’s a ‘mint’ taste to it... (wishful thinking with this AND the Cadbury Screme Eggs I think ). . Whilst it may not be mint exactly, there is a different tinge tinge to the taste. I feel like the company has attempted a ‘milk choc’ taste without trying to change the flavour, but there’s no way that you can take ALLLL the brown colour out of the choc and have it taste the same! (I mean, what do I know, I’m sure that we’re fooled more than that on the daily... but still... ). . If you’ve not had many Reese’s cups in the past, you won’t know the difference - but seasoned tasters will be able to sense that extra bite . . Tell me what you think it tastes like See more

06.01.2022 [KIT KAT APPLE PIE] As part of the seasonal US range, we have been gifted: APPLE PIE ! . Is there no limit to what @kitkat can squeeze into one of their chocolates?? And, well... in a yellow pack, it stands out and is so appealing . . Let me get to the review, because I know you’re more interested in knowing about that than you are about me crushing on the packaging! ... . You open the pack, and BAM there’s a cinnamon-y punch to the nostrils (sort of like a love punch... a big smack - but resulting in good feelings only ). . So, in my head, I though - oh yeahhhh it’ll just be a white Kit Kat full of cinnamon derrr... . Nope. A big fat bag of nope! . MUCH BETTER! . At first, the cinnamon didn’t even hit... there was something else... but I couldn’t put my finger on it! Thennnn the cinnamon hit.. THENNN the other flavour came to me: . Apples! Hot apples! Hot apple pieeee! . Guys, this chocolate to me was straight up McDonald’s Hot Apple Pie. No two ways about it - that’s allll I could taste! . If you like McDonald’s Hot Apple Pies, you’ll love this chocolate!! . ....if you hate @mcdonaldsau Hot Apple Pies... then you’ll probably hate this too . Well done @kitkat_us See more

04.01.2022 [WHITE NUTELLA] Let’s just take a moment to look at this picture, and appreciate this unicorn of a snack... . This blessed jar was sent to me by @thesnackcontroller - and I need to thank his/her/their beautiful soul for creating this thing of beauty, and sending me one . . This jar, with that logo so famous, is found on shelves ALL over the world... but alas, it’s always a dark brown colour... milk chocolate flavour. This one has a white - slightly golden - colour, and e...ven look at the toast in the picture, it has a white spread on it! . Ok, I’m going to be bombarded with messages and DM’s, so let me answer right now - no, this is not a real product, and no, you cannot buy your body’s weight of this product! . @thesnackcontroller DOES have more posts about it on their page though, and if you read carefully through the descriptions, you might even discover the recipe they used . The spread smells like a Kinder dream, and it tastes even better . It does remind me of one of my ALL-TIME favourite Kinder snacks, the White Schoko-Bons It has the familiarity of a Kinder product, with a strong hazelnut influence, and creamy white-milk-chocolate (can that be a thing?! ) . You may have seen the video of me eating this in the story... there wasn’t much that was said... just a lot of heavy breathing on my part . . Ok, starting right this minute though, I’m determined to get @thesnackcontroller to make a special Bruce Super batch of this heavenly delight, and offer it up to the people! . Show your support in the comments below if you’re down for this! See more

04.01.2022 [DUPLO WHITE] This little-known Ferrero product is back in our hot little hands, and am I in love or what?! . Let’s clear this up first: the Duplo is defs a well known product in Europe However, when I mentioned it to someone at the shop, they said to me: ‘do you mean LEGO...?’ - I actually loved that . . I’ve had these once before, for the biggest flash-in-the-pan moment - as soon as peeps heard we had them, they were gone in an instant .... . Do I really need to give a description though?! It’s FERRERO! It’s thin wafers, it’s thin layers of cream, it’s white choc! . Upon tasting it this morning, I felt like the white chocolate was actually more subtle than usual, which was a pleasant surprise. Some companies have an overbearing sweet taste to go with their white choc (which can be great in tiny doses, but a bit much overall!). . The wafers were also SUPER crisp, which is different to how I remember them! . The Ferrero quality came through though, as it always does, and that’s what topped this off as the decadent little treat that it was . Let me know if you’ve had Duplo before - and where it ranks for you in the Ferrero range! See more

03.01.2022 [LAY’S STAX] Think Pringles... but from Lay’s . . I had these as a snack late last night on my drive home (I always like having a snack for the drive... whether that be at 2am, 9am, or 6pm - it just helps! Haha). . I popped em open, and even though it was dark in the car (could just see the bright red of the top of the chips), one thing wasn’t missing... the smell!... . Wow wow wow... I said it on the camera, and I’ll say it again... these are worth the money just to stick your nose in and take a giant wiff... I’m not even gna sit here and pretend it’s super pleasant... like, it’s pungent! Haha. Think of ranch sauce, mixed with blue cheese, and a giant tub of vinegar... it’s full on! Haha . Having said that, surprisingly, the taste is much milder than you’d expect! It’s nice and BBQ-y, and the spice only builds up nicely after a few mouthfuls. They’re actually super moorish. . Now, the only thing I wouldn’t really be able to go into detail about is... how they’re particularly different to Pringles... . The upside here is that Pringles kick-ass... but I thought these might be more Lays-chip-like... nope! Pringles with another name, in another flavour (again, nothing to be mad about I guess... ) . If you know the diff... school me in the comments! See more

02.01.2022 [TWIX CRUNCHY CARAMEL] It’s Christmas Day, and nothing says that more than this new Twix from the Middle East! . Ok, well... actually, the more I think about it, the more I realize that a hell of a lot of desserts say Christmas just as well... pavlova, Christmas cake, pudding, custard... you get this gist... however, this Twix is still one of them (with all of this food in my belly, I’m not sure how I can even think about dessert ). . I was (and most definitely still... am) a huge fan of the Twix Salted Caramel which preceded this, but if you asked me today, I’d be pressed to pick between the two: this one took me for a wild ride! . I was expecting a ‘crunchy’ base, but at the same time was thinking ‘yeh, yeh... the base of a Twix is ALREADY crunchy... what ya gna do now??’ Haha. Well... it was crunchier alright . . The base of this choc bar is NO REGULAR TWIX base! Somehow they HAVE made the base much crunchier - in a crumbly kind of way. But not only that - they’ve added chunks of what I can only describe as toffee or brittle! . The base is laden with pieces of this crunchy toffee, so if the difference in the biscuit wasn’t enough, these bits sure do hit the spot . . The chocolate and gooey caramel are as we remember them (otherwise this would be a completely unrecognizable chocolate bar ), but they were pretty amazing to start with, so it’s fine by me . . This bar is from Twix Arabia... those Middle Easterners have been on fire in the past year or two - bringing us absolutely fire versions of the snacks we already know and love (*cough* Lotus Kit Kat anyone?? ) See more

02.01.2022 [CARAMEL COCONUT OREO] Woop woop put your hands up for that new-new Oreo . Some @Oreo flavours I love, some not so much (very very few I dislike... Oreo Australia... this would be your department... ) - one thing is for sure though, they always NAIL a flavour! And that in itself is a true experience every time . . One thing I just realized though... is ‘caramel coconut’ a famous American cake that I’m completely new to? Like, is this the American Lamington - or just a... random cake flavour...? If it’s common... I’m completely missed this side to their food scene . . The pack itself smells amazing (as always...) - the smell gives me real ‘dulche de leche’ vibes . The caramel is there - it’s most definitively there . Then there’s the coconut... I find that the coconut came through two fold. . Now, as some that follow the stories might know, this was my afternoon driving snack, so I could be completely wrong on this - butttt: the... BISCUIT itself has coconut pieces?! I should probably Google this... but I’m almost certain that the biscuit had some light coloured specs through it... . The cream also, not only did it have a coconut flavour coming through, it did have little bits of coconut throughout - I find that this always give the ‘coconut’ flavour authenticity . . Anyhow - these were good (and the more that I look at that picture, the more I want to dig into that moist-looking caramel-coconuty chocolate cake ). . What’s your all-time favourite a Oreo? There’s a lot of good ones I’ve tried, but I still feel like Mint was one of that first that REALLY opened my eyes like... See more
