25.01.2022 Dear valued customers, The NSW government has just announced the undertaking of a comprehensive shut down of non- essential businesses which means restaurants and cafes such as Brunos Restaurant will most likely be affected. We will be closing our doors this week to ensure the upmost safety to our staff and our valued customers. Until the government identify the clear terms of what is an essential service. ... 25.01.2022 Good Morning! Im finally back in Brisbane and feeling very proud of the LR community and how much we raised during the morning tea. A total of $1530.00 was raised and will go directly to the Cancer Council. Just wanted to thank everyone who made the effort to come along and support us in hosting our first ever morning tea, and also to those who couldnt make it but still got involved by donating. (You know who you are) Thank-you to my mum Lyn for making so many yummy goodi...es as well as gluten free and dairy free options, to Louise and her yummy treats plus delicious brownies. Eleanor and her banana cupcakes plus taking the time to make coffees. Mercy, Frances and Pat Adams for making sandwiches and organising the food table. Steven and Emily for donating cakes and the urn to Amanda Morris for helping me set up the night before and the morning of. If Ive forgotten anyone please dont take it personally, and know that I am great full for your involvement! Thank-you to the individuals and businesses who donated prizes for our raffles: Sandy & Herman for the opal necklace, Maree Breuer for the Cosmetic pack, Naomi Jayne Studio for the Voucher, Chris for the Mr Cheep voucher, Lyn & Bruno for the champagne and Brunos Voucher. 19.01.2022 Wow we are just overwhelmed with how busy we have been since opening last week. We just want to say a huge thank you to our staff old and new for really stepping up and making sure we comply with our COVID-19 standards. Although, last night in particular we had a few patrons that wanted to sit at tables that clearly had signs outlining that you couldnt sit due to our COVID-19 restaurant regulations. Please respect our staff when they apologise and say that we are at capaci...ty. Trust us, we would love to sit customers at every table but once we hit capacity your only option is take away. We will not let these standards change until the NSW government eases restrictions. We want to protect our staff, customers and local community by complying to the best COVD-19 practices. Thank you to those customers who have been so extremely supportive of the changes weve had to make!

It was such a great event for the community to get together Thank-you to Lyn, Louise, Eleanor, Emily, Pat & Frances who donated their time to cook delicious homemade goodies and to our local businesses for donating prizes for our raffles. 12.01.2022 Our team has been working very hard with late nights to ensure we are COVID ready! Our restaurant has been cleaned from the very top to the very bottom. -We have in place our COVID 19 Safety Plan which you will see is signed and laminated at the front of our door. -We also have laminated posters around the restaurant outlining the importance of keeping our distance. -We will also be taking our customers details such as address and contact number for those who are dinning i...n (as per government requirements). - As well as a temperature gun to ensure our customers who are dining are well and safe to dine in our premises. We are taking our precautions very seriously as you all know our beloved Bruno is 86! So to protect our family, staff and the greater community of LR we are doing our part to support the governments requirements for restaurants to re-open during this crazy time.
