11.01.2022 Hello fellow patients, GOOD NEWS!!! As per the Australian Dental Association, we are now back to Stage 1 dental restriction. Despite the COVID-19 Protocol at our clinic remains unchanged, we are now providing MOST dental procedures again. The protocols include: 1) check body temperature before all treatment ... 2) check recent travelling and social history 3) frequent use of hand sanitiser 4) wear mask all the time 5) use of concentrated antiseptic mouth rinse 6) postpone certain aerosol generating procedures As always, we aim to provide a safe place for your dental treatment. If you are interested in booking an appointment with us for the next few weeks, please contact (03) 9380 4736 or 0425 253 231. Stay safe ;) #backtowork #COVID19 #safe

09.01.2022 As per the Federal Government, from 1st January 2021, there will be a slight increase to the coverage fees in the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, from $1000 to $1013 over two years. While our clinic supports the increase of any amount, we still believe that it is less than sufficient to support comprehensive oral care for children in Australia. We hope that the Federal Government can index the benefit in line with the increasing needs for paediatric dental care. #kids #childrensdentistry #CDBS #dentalcare

09.01.2022 Finally we are returning back to normal! It had been a difficult time for Victorians, but as usual, we can eventually overcome it! The level 3 dental restriction of "urgent care only" in metropolitan Melbourne will ease from 28 September. With Brunswick Dental Clinic, while we will maintain the standard of covid-19 infection control, we will start to resume non-urgent procedures such as examinations, preventive and restorative care; still with high emphasis on minimising aerosols as per the ADA level 2 guidelines. For existing patients, we willl soon contact you if you have any incomplete treatment or it's time for your recall check-up. For new patients, please feel free to call us to book an appointment.

09.01.2022 As per the recommendation from the ADAVB and Dental Board of Austraia, from Friday 7 August 2020, Brunswick Dental Clinic will operate at Level 3 dental restriction. Recognising that we are practising in an environment where there is unknown community transmission of COVID-19, we will only provide emergency dental services by appointments if the oral health problem cannot be resolved by telehealth or has a risk of causing negative outcome(s). All routine dental services will either be postponed or cancelled until further notice. While we apologize for such a short notice, we encourage our fellow patients to subscribe to our Facebook or Instagram page and keep track of our announcements in the future. Please do not hesistate to contact us on (03) 9380 4736 or 0425 253 231 if you have any questions. Stay safe and have a nice day.

04.01.2022 Since cases of COVID-19 continue to grow in Victoria, all private dental practices in metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire areas are recommended to move to a minimum of Level 2 Dental Restrictions and postpone all non-urgent aerosol generating procedures. At Brunswick Dental Clinic, we hope to minimize the risk to your safety. Therefore, we will be providing selective general and emergency dental procedures as follows. - Examinations - Digital radiographs - Fillings a...nd selected restorative procedures - Denture procedures - Preventive procedures and tooth whitening - Orthodontic assessment and treatment - Pain relief such as root canal treatment and extractions - Periodontal deep clean with hand instruments only - Consultation about dental treatment later If you have an appointment booked for cleans and complex restorative procedures, they will be postponed for 2 weeks as per text messages sent early this week. We will keep you updated with the dental restriction a few days prior to your appointment, in order to determine whether your appointment will be postponed or not. If you would like to cancel your appointment for now or reschedule to a later date, please let us know 48 hours prior. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any questions, please contact us on (03) 9380 4736. Please stay safe.
