03.01.2022 So when they're not shootingwhere do our @BrunyIslandPhotography participants stay, socialise, and soak up our post-processing seminars In remote South Bruny set amongst 860 acres of pristine bushland with in excess of 6klms of coastline resides the 'Bruny Island Lodge'; a rustic timber chalet on the hill overlooking Mickey’s Bay. The Lodge offers a unique and unforgettable experience on Brunyit combines spectacular native bushland with comfortable, well-equipped, flexib...le accommodation that is perfect for hosting our photographic workshops. This character-filled timber chalet has five bedrooms with four bathrooms, five toilets, and a commercial kitchen from which our caterers prepare the tours scrumptious locally sourced fare. There is a well-appointed bar and games room with an amazing central cast iron fireplace for winter, with the option to roll back the walls and take in the magnificent scenery during summer. The Lodge provides private access to kilometres of coastline that participants are free to explore and shoot, without another soul in sight to interrupt their frame. The sheltered waters of Mickey's Bayjust a few hundred meters from the Lodge’s front doorare perfect for sunrise, sunset, and Aurora Australis opportunities.
