02.01.2022 Hip Hinge It looks easy, it sounds easy, but for the general pop it’s one of the trickiest basic human movements. It’s something we do every day and it’s something that done incorrectly over time or even in an instant can seriously injure or alter our body function possibly for the rest of our life. Archie here is a novice and has some difficulties hip hinging in a controlled and safe manner so for him we found doing kettlebell deadlift a great starting point to work on the movement pattern, and then from here we will fine tune his technique until we can move on to things like RDLs and Conventional Deadlifts with a barbell. The sky’s the limit
