21.01.2022 It's been a great 2 full days recording at Bruthen Music with the mighty "Vitriform". The 5th project to record in the new Recording Studio this week! Sounding as Fat as a whale and as dynamic as .. um, something really dynamic! Loving the really well crafted tunes, up to song 5 now and the boys still have more to track. Great job Lee Nickless, Jesse Kidd and Damien Morgan. This album is really going to make an impact!! Stay tuned friends! :-)

18.01.2022 So here it is everyone.. Here is the running list of artists performing at The Bruthen Inn this Sunday 25th Oct for the 1 year anniversary of the Open Mic sessions. If you havent attended one of these days yet then come along and check it out! It has been a great 12 months with over 250 artists performing on the stage, with a fantastic range of styles and talent!!!! Kicking off at 2pm with a $5 door charge.... - 12 Acts!!! - Sausage sizzle!!! The event is being recorded which will result in a CD comprising 1 song of each of the performers on the day. Once completed the audio CD will be available to purchase at Bruthen Music or at any future Bruthen Open Mic session that are held on the last Sunday of each month. A special mention and thank you to Judy, Alison, Ange and Eva from the Bruthen Blues and Arts committee for their support and assistance on the day. They will be attending the door, and also running the bbq which will be raising money for the Bruthen Blues & Arts Festival 2016 so buy some sausages in support people!!! 16.01.2022 Feeling blessed, had the talented Phil Cappadona and Sharyn Dickeson of Organic Joe in the studio again today from 11:00 to 5:00 and then a session with an amazingly talented singer song writer James McDuffie from 6:00 to 10:30. The world needs to hear these artists!!!! looking forward to the release of Bruthen Musics first compilation album to showcase some songs from the amazing local artists Ive had the privilege to work with so far.

Summertime which will appear on his upcoming album Spirit to be released 2019. 15.01.2022 Ok, so it was a big day at Bruthen Music!!!! I have had the pleasure for the 2nd time of having Tina Bartle in the Recording Studio (recent joint winner of the original song section at Bruthens Got Talent) After a productive session it was back to work in the new studio soldering wires! so heres some photos! ..I calculated that Ive soldered 504 seperate wires!!!!! yep, you heard (read) correct! 504!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and have finally finished all the wiring. Oh, and my apologies, it was hard to get a clear shot without Mandy the photo-bombing bandit trying to still the lime-light haha ..lucky shes cute!! ;-)

14.01.2022 Well well! what an amazing first year at Bruthen Music! Yes it has been 12 months since I first opened the doors. I have to say, what a great decision I made in following my heart and soul :-) Ive met so so many wonderful people through the shop, studio and lessons, it has been truly fantastic.... Thanks to all that have supported Bruthen Music and become a part of the Bruthen Music family, whether it be though recording, lessons the shop or other it has been a pleasure to meet and work with so many great people and great artists over the last 12 months. Ive been blessed again to be so involved with so much talent as I have in the last couple of days. Candice McLeod was in the studio Sunday morning and tracked some amazing soulful vocals over 6 songs off Wally Edneys new studio project. She then recorded 5 original songs for her EP "Live In Bruthen". Monday saw Phil and Sharyn from Organic Joe return to the studio to continue work on the debut Album which is nearing completion The afternoon was spent starting work on their other project "Mama Toto" who will also be recording a full length album. Today (Tuesday) has been great with Nicky Moffatt back in finalising an amazing cover of the classic Cars song "Drive". This arvo will see Wally Edney back in to continue work on his album and a cameo from the amazing Gary Gatter who will be tracking organ over some of the songs. Cant wait!! 09.01.2022 The new recording console arrived early last week! ..but its too big to fit in the studio!!! haha, just jokes, it is huge but fits nicely beneath the windows looking in to the seperate recording rooms. The custom desk to house the console will be finished by the end of the week. The studios set to be up and running before xmas!!!!

08.01.2022 The new Recording Rooms are now fully functional at Bruthen Music Recording Studio. Weve done half a dozen sessions in the last couple of weeks and Im stoked with the sounds we are getting. Exciting times!!

02.01.2022 Great getting some radio play with this little beauty, recorded at Bruthen Music Recording Studio. Organic Joes debut album "Waiting for The Mothership" The album is being launched tomorrow, Sunday Nov 29th at the Bruthen Inn Hotel. Organic Joe will be performing all 10 tracks featured on the album. The day kicks of at 2:00pm with the monthly Open Mic sessions and will be broken up by 2 sets from Organic Joe through out the day. ... CDs available for purchase on the day :-)
