09.01.2022 What an amazing time it has been in the Recording Studio the last few weeks/month. Two Last Names smashed out two amazing songs on Saturday. Brad from Steakfaced was in on Sunday tracking guitar for their up coming full length album, Luke Ruey was in Monday and Tuesday working on an amazing original song with plans to do a full length album. We have also recently finished Ricky Harrisons EP, have only minor adjustments to make on Organic Joes third Studio Album, and also sessions with some other amazing artists like Carol George. Plenty going on in Bruthen!! Blessed to be doing what I love, and to be working with so many creative wonderful people. I love my job! :-D
09.01.2022 Hey friends, Crazy times call for crazy songs with crazy videos about the crazy times we live in!!! hahaha. For those of you that are in to my heavier music, and might have missed this one.. (apparently 2am is not the best time to share my videos) ..this is the second single from Ah-nye-lah called Rise Above This. We are currently working on the 3rd single which will be out in coming months.... Thanks heaps for the support.
09.01.2022 Mixing with Mandy #3 Setting up a studio tip #1 - Multicores save time! Hi again ..so I thought Id flashback to around this time in 2015 during the final stages of construction in the new studio..... Dad insisted on doing all the wiring himself (idiot) ..so we spent about 2 weeks soldering all the audio lines from the tracking rooms back to the control room. Well, more like dad did, my job was to get in the way and act cute! It was a long, arduous process. He was really silly to do it all himself!! flash forward to earlier in 2020, and we added an additional 12 sends, 4 returns plus 4 D.I sends, all with one multicore unit, which took all of about 20 mins. In conclusion.. sometimes it is rewarding to do everything yourself (Dad still says he takes pride in knowing he did it himself) but sometime, when there is an easier and more cost effective solution, just take it!
