25.01.2022 Getting moving slowly in the morning is key to preventing inuring a inflamed sore back. Yes im in my Pj's with my coffee away on holidays with my family in this video. I understand lower back pain because I have it and have been treating people who suffering with chronic pain for over 26 years.

22.01.2022 Ultrasound is often used to provide deep heating to soft tissue structures in the body. Deep heating tendons, muscles or ligaments increases circulation to those tissues, which is thought to help the healing process. Increasing tissue temperature with ultrasound is also used to help decrease pain At Thrive many of my therapists have incorporated Ultrasound Therapy in to their treatments.

18.01.2022 Pain is not a measure of damage Its a protector when we have damage to the tissues, or the brain senses the threat of damage to the tissues. Pain then motivates us to protect from further damage e.g. limping on our sprained ankle. If the brain decides there is something more important than protecting a body part, then it may make the decision not to produce pain e.g. feeling no pain during a shark attack.... Pain can occur in a body part that is not damaged. Damage can occur in a body part that is not painful. credit - exercise right

Increased activity, weather change, stress and changes in menstrual cycle may increase pain intensity. Symptoms may include fatigue, anxiety and depression. Exercise to ease your pain: exercise is crucial when you have fibromyalgia to increase energy and strength, however start off with light walking or gentle yoga before progressing onto strength training. Heated pool therapy can help with relieving symptoms. Dish up healthy meals: Caffeine, alcohol and packaged foods can aggravate the symptoms, so try and trade these options in for fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains and healthy fats instead. Get some deep sleep: fibromyalgia may cause you to have sleeping disorders but lack of sleep aggravates your chronic pain. Breathing exercises, mediation and replacing your old mattress are remedies that can help you to achieve deep sleep. Rub away your pain with a massage: continuous massage sessions will definitely help with this disorder by decreasing swelling, increasing your range of motion, improving your flexibility and reducing pain. My back has flared up last two days deep burning discomfort through the areas iv shown PSOAS-GLUTEUS- muscles plus pain/stiffness along my spine T10-L2 area Im not happy when this happens I feel frustrated, little depressed So now Im looking for a treatment today ideally some acupuncture in my hip area and some mobility work along my spine
14.01.2022 Groin pain is a tell-tale sign that the pain is linked to the hip, pain above the waistline that travels down the body typically indicates a low back issue. A low back problem may also be responsible for other types of lower body pain, including thigh, buttock, and below-the-knee pain. Among the most common degenerative conditions that affect the lumbar spine are herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and spondylolisthesis. These conditions cause pain by irritating your low back n...erves, resulting in pain that shoots down your legs (ie, sciatica), weakness, numbness, and reducing your range of motion. The pattern of pain coming from the lumbar spine can be variable, depending of the specific issue causing the pain. Commonly, pain from arthritis of the spine occurs during transitions such as getting out of bed in the morning or raising up from sitting. It can often then improve after getting moving. In contrast, pain from spinal stenosis or nerve pressure (ie, compression) is often worse with prolonged standing or walking and relieved with sitting. If you are struggling to identify where the source of your pain is coming from seek professional advice . A correct diagnosis is key to a good recovery.

I was feeling restricted when rotating my body to the left so this rotational mobilisation and Chandra applying pressure across my spine has really increased my range of motion.... 05.01.2022 If you have pain in your low back, hips, and other areas in your lower body, the source isnt always easy to pinpoint. Your pain may originate in your lumbar spine (low back) or your hipor bothand its important that your therapist identifies the source of the problem, so you receive the right treatment. Because the hips and lower spine are located so closely together, its easy to mistake back pain for hip pain (and vice versa). Regardless of the origin, most low back pain and hip pain share a common cause: normal wear and tear on the body due to aging or triggered by overuse injuries (your doctor may refer to this wear and tear as degeneration or degenerative changes). Lumbar sprains and strains, osteoarthritis, and herniated discs are common degenerative culprits behind low back and hip pain.

03.01.2022 SYMPTOMS CHANGE EVERYDAY Bulging disc can cause pain not only in your spine.... this is why we get very confused and are not able to pin point where its coming from Iv irritated my old disc bulge 3 weeks ago and although still able to work full time its very painful some days I get massage-acupuncture-mobilisation-manipulation-cupping-ultrasound therapy IT ALL HELPS THANKFULLY but as soon as I push too much I get acute pain which can last 6-48 hours TERRIBLE PAIN... This pain can be in my spine, my buttocks, my hips, down the side-front-back of my leg , in my core muscles (psoas muscle) it can be BURNING-DEEP-SHARP-RADIATING at this stage you feel like its the end of the world bacause you just cant do want you normally do!
