15.01.2022 Wrapping up the t20 competition, Pinnacle 2nd Div played 4 games over 2 Sundays. The first weekend saw Pinnacle take on Walkerston, who were too good on this oc...casion claiming the win, Bryan Industries Pty Ltd Man on the Match given to the one and only, Flash, scoring a quick 17 runs at the conclusion of the innings. The second match of the day was against the soon to be premiers, Brothers. Despite a strong start by Bryan Industries Man of the Match Fitzy with 39 runs to his name, Brothers claimed the win. The 2nd Sunday of t20 had us up against our valley rivals. Batting first Pinnacle played themselves into a strong position of 9/158 ( Jenkin 36, Russell 26). With exceptionally tight bowling, Pinnacle were able to restrict PV to 122 runs, special mention to Fitzy with the tidy figures of 4/15 off 4 and Bryan Industries Man of the Match Kris Kirwood with 4/9 off 3 and on a hatrick for his next game! Our final bout of t20 for the year has us taking on a strong Maggie's outfit, batting first we were able to set a total of 140 with the amazing contribution from Man of the Match Dan Donnelly 71 runs. Magpies chased this down in the dying overs. Pinnacle 2nd Div had improved on last year's inaugural season,. finishing two spots higher and hope to continue this trend next season. Well done lads!
