16.01.2022 REJUVIE RELOCATES Excited about relocating her skin therapy business from Cairns to Gordonvale, owner of Rejuvie, Leigh Murphy has hit the ground running and in... some ways she has the coronavirus pandemic to thank for this. Turning 40 this year, it was Leigh’s intention to celebrate this milestone birthday in Las Vegas. When travel restrictions were implemented in response to Covid-19, the savings Leigh had put aside for her holiday could now be used for something else. The something else was the gutting and refitting of the shop space at 1B Cannon Street in the old ambulance building. As a Goldsborough resident, the new business location also meant a big reduction in the commute time to work for Leigh. Leigh comes with a wealth of experience, firstly as a business owner for 7 years and as a skin therapist for longer. Working in a bank in the UK, Leigh changed her career at age 30. Completing her beauty therapy studies in Australia, Leigh initially worked with skin care doctors in both Cairns and Innisfail. Working with medical professionals added another element to her skillset and her ability to provide individualised skin care treatments. Providing free consultations, Leigh offers a range of services including microdermabration, acne treatments, skin rejuvenation, IPL, super hair removal (laser) and LED Therapy treatments.
