25.01.2022 Poor bugger at the vets to day with quiet pronounced navicular changes and pedolostitis received a graduated bar shoe pads and concussion absorbing material should feel a bit betta all hand made keeping the old ways alive !!

24.01.2022 What an awsome day at Barbagallo Raceway for the v8 super cars I was lucky enough to have an opportunity to sponsor be it in a very minor way a Dunlop 2 car in Adam marjoram who had an up and down weekend but very impressive watching the man go to work bit of a novelty for me being involved in a different kind of horse power big thanks to Ashley Marjoram for stupidly telling me her brother raced lol was awsome meeting your crew top bunch of people (quietly stoked he binned it into the fence because I got to take the rear bumper home )

18.01.2022 Doing a video for the book spent the last 3 days pulling the work car apart welding the framework up for some slides for a couple of shoe racks just to make things abit neater and Jarrad from hi tech auto electrics wired everything up so no need for a generator anymore working smarter not harder !!!

13.01.2022 Sometimes I shake my head... Shoeing horses regularly is of vital importance! This poor horse today had come back from a lease and had so much foot on behind that he was overreaching badly and had destroyed his front heels The shoe needs to fit the foot, not foot fit the shoe. The last picture is where his foot should be, but had been previously ‘ripped into’, compromising the structural integrity of the foot, to address excessive flaring dorsal wall on the lateral branch (not by myself). With a bit of luck he will be happier after today, but this horse will take 6 months to be ball park. Point being: minor changes more often!!

11.01.2022 Apologies to all customers I have let down or am going to let down over the summer bush fire season I volunteer up at roleystone fire brigade have done for a few years now and am called upon at very abrupt short notice times to fight fire I thank you all for you patience as most of u know I pride myself on reliability and turning up on time (but normally early) so again from alex and myself we appreciate your understanding

10.01.2022 So just a little of what goes on behind the scenes it’s now 7.36 need to make about 8 pairs of shoes for the ponys tmrow first job was at 6 this morning last job was at 5 home at 6.45 and into it ! I make shoes because it benefits the horses in the quality of the job I can do is much greater in making the shoes in my opinion and these are the lengths I go to lol!!! I love my job I love my job lol some days more than others lol

07.01.2022 I have a cracking day of variety today helping a pony out with a deep digital flexor issues by hand making a bar shoe on the job to shoeing the smallest pony I do at 10 hands and then the biggest footed horse I do I call him ‘bigfoot’ massive Clydesdale lol I’ve actually had an awsome day on the job have a good weekend peeps
