15.01.2022 #LoveNSW Love The South Coast Love Moruya

15.01.2022 It’s been a difficult week for us here as we prepared our home and property for bush fires. The fires threatened but thankfully never arrived. We evacuated to town for 2 nights and returned to find our home and animals okay. Fred the guardian found it difficult being away from her home and property and needed reassurance. The farm stay will be closed until it is safe again. Thank you to family and friends and previous guests who have prayed for us and sent us messages of encouragement and support and offering assistance. We are safe and there is currently rain, cooler temperatures and a bit of respite.

13.01.2022 The farm stay may be quiet but the farm is about to get very busy. First new lamb in 2020.

12.01.2022 Two weeks old now and still just the one lamb. I’m starting to wonder if our ram is a dud instead of a stud.

10.01.2022 Yes! We are still open to bookings from essential travellers. In the meantime while it’s been quiet, we’ve given the kitchen a little refresh. We’re pretty happy with the results. Still waiting on new cupboard faces and handles.

09.01.2022 The girls are loving all the green grass after the rains and so are we

08.01.2022 As with many of the other small businesses on the South Coast, we’ve had a difficult start to the year. The bush fires and smoke have resulted in cancellations and fewer bookings. The beautiful rain has filled our dam and tanks and the green grass has returned. Please come down to the South Coast and support our struggling small businesses. We need you!
