06.01.2022 Together with our header page, I have featured here some photos of the artwork and others of good friend, life member and treasure of the Society, Allan Moody. Yesterday Allan and his wife Maria celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary and in a few days his birthday. They are doing it in isolation much like we will be in a couple of weeks. Allan and Maria have spent virtually all their lives in Ballarat and make up part of the quiet achievers of this city. Amazingly they also have three daughters, the eldest Sarah!!! all of whom have, from afar, made this a memorable occasion for them. I would have liked to have posted a picture of them both but sadly do not have any. Our very best wishes to them.

01.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Our Treasurer Allan Moody has drawn our Annual Art Show Raffle for the Lyn Cooke painting. Tickets were sold at our display at the Begonia Festival 2020 and some on line. The winner is the holder of ticket number Black D32. If possible, if the winner will give us permission to publish a photo of them with the prize when they receive it , I will publish on facebook.

01.01.2022 Disappointingly, our proposed Ballarat Society of Artists exhibition at the Mercure, that was to begin on the 21st September, has been cancelled due to the covid restrictions. We hope to be involved in another at the Mercure in 2021!!
