24.01.2022 Nice article in The Age today, 'Preparing for lift off: Space startups get ready to launch' I am very big on "don't complain unless you have a solution", in which I am proud to say I have proposed a workable solution to the Australian Space Agency. https://www.theage.com.au//preparing-for-lift-off-space-st

24.01.2022 MEDIA RELEASE: Australian/Queensland Rocket Manufacturer Secures Priority Access to unique site where NASA will launch in 2020. Read More: https://bsaero.space//australian-queensland-rocket-manufa/ Black Sky Aerospace (BSA) will become the first Australian rocket manufacturer to gain priority access to one of the worlds most efficient launch locations, The Arnhem Space Centre in the Northern Territory. ... The space centre in the NT is the same site that is planning to host a world first, with NASA undertaking its first ever launch from a non-government owned site. The announcement marks a first for Australias space sector and is a clear indication of the ongoing developments that are underway in the local commercial sector which is increasingly becoming known for its ability to deliver innovative and effective teaming solutions. CEO of ELA, Ms Carley Scott said ELA offers efficient launch. Increasing access to local vehicle manufacturers is an exciting option for the site. We are pleased to provide a launch platform that, we hope, will significantly enhance the growth of opportunities for BSA as a vehicle of choice here and abroad into the future. Black Sky Aerospace have been successfully delivering measurable and reliable sub-orbital launch vehicles. Most recently the Australian rocket manufacturer announced that the company has dedicated itself to supplying a responsive access to space, meaning customers can launch their payloads according to their own schedules and not be hostage to the potential delays other providers might face. Blake Nikolic, Director of BSA said launching from the ELA site in the near term will provide our customers with the benefits of being close to the equator that is readily available. In the longer term, it allows us to continue developing nation leading rocket technologies that can carry payloads to orbit and beyond using local expertise and our proven ability to create reliable vehicles. The two companies signed a LOI that ensures site planning and development in the Northern Territory considers BSAs identified current and future needs from growing customer interest. For more information on BSA, the first Australian rocket manufacturer to have priority access at the Arnhem Space Centre, visit https://bsaero.space
