25.01.2022 Congratulations, Brenton Worley of Green Acres Golf Club! You're one step closer to winning the coveted BSG Kew perpetual trophy since coming out on top after playing 3 rounds in March. With the suspension of our Cobra Puma comp due to the COVID-19 virus lockdown, Brenton just pipped 2-time Tour Champion, Alex Brabin. We look forward to resuming the competition in the not too distant future, to see who'll be next into the December play-off to determine the 2020 Tour Champion. As the March winner, Brenton wins his choice of prize from Puma, and a 1-month Frequent Player membership, which we'll hold over for him to redeem when we resume trading - it'll be worth the wait!

10.01.2022 Congratulations Alex Brabin on your round 2 win in our Cobra Puma comp. Your 39-stableford points win was 2 clear of your nearest rivals (Jason Costain and Kevin Averill on 37). While the sporting world is in a state of flux, our indoor golf comp will continue as usual, for now at least. Know that we'll be adding extra sanitizing steps following every simulator use, and our team will be exercising the recommended hygiene and cleaning practices that are essential for these cha...llenging times. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to speak with management. This week, comp players will head to King & Bear in Florida, where conditions will be stable on this course that's rated 3/5 for difficulty. But to make things a bit more interesting, the pins will be in a hard position. Remember, the round costs just $25 per person, and all NEW players in groups of 2 or more receive a free beverage. 09.01.2022 Scoring a very respectable 42 stableford points, Steve Tierney won our comp last week. Congrats Steve! You managed to hold off George Dimopoulos on 40 points. Honourable mention to Stevie Edwards and Tan Tran who were also on 40, but George was better on the back 9. Prizes from Under Armour and Leishman Lager await! Congrats to all our February weekly winners. The overall winner will be announced later today. This week our players head to Mexico where there'll be fast greens and a gentle sea breeze at Cabo Del Sol.

08.01.2022 While we'd prefer to be golfing (amongst many other things!), we're making the most of Victoria's 5-day enforced lockdown, i.e. painting the house, taking the dog for a 2-hour walk (check out Caddy enjoying the post-walk rest) etc. What have you been doing on day 1?

With the shut down that's been imposed on Big Swing Golf Kew as of 12 pm yesterday (as a licensed, indoor sport venue), that round marks the end of the March competition. We'll announce the March winner soon. We hope all our customers stay well and resist boredom over the challenging months ahead of us all.... 05.01.2022 The first winner for July in our Cobra Puma individual stableford comp is Brenton Worley of Green Acres Golf Club. Congrats on your 41 points, with your closest rival 3 points behind (Shayne Kearney - great to have you back in the comp!). This week's comp course is Bountiful Ridge and should be considerably easier than last week. It's rated just 2/5 for difficulty. But that's before we added windy conditions, and put the pins in a hard position. That should ramp up the difficulty, just for fun!
