24.01.2022 Today marks 10 years since we brought the business at the Sellheim Sand Plant. There’s been some ups and downs in that time, but a great journey with loyal customers and staff. Looking forward to the next chapter!

21.01.2022 The new Dry Screening Plant is taking shape now with all the major infrastructure in place. We hope to be up and running within the next month.

12.01.2022 Not only do BSNA have many years of experience and a wealth of knowledge in the field of natural agg products. They also have exceptional customer service to go... with it. It is all of these qualities that make dealing with BSNA an absolute pleasure. Greg, and his team always deliver a high quality product. Now before you say "Oh but sand is sand", you would be incorrect. We rely on a screened river sand that is clean and free of rock and pebbles. BSNA then deliver the sand and either run it out on our track and arena or stock pile it where it is needed. The drivers are always happy to help. Not only are BSNA fabulous to deal with at home, they are also very big supports of the TJC. They are always happy to help when the track needs more material and they are also very good sponsors of our club. The TJC is very appreciative of their continued support and we look forward to many more years of working together. If I ever won the lotto, I would call Greg and the team to get his expert advice on road base, sand, gravel and landscaping rocks. It would be for my dream indoor arena complete with landscaped garden and gravel drive way. awwwww It is good to dream!!! So if you have a job that needs sand, rocks, pebbles or any other natural agg product call our friends at BSNA https://www.facebook.com/bsnanq/?ref=br_rs

12.01.2022 Congratulations Carl Smith on 10 years of dedicated service with us

09.01.2022 1st of September 2009 We bought the Sellheim Sand Plant! We have achieved a lot in 9 years, and there is still more to come. Thanks to our wonderful Staff and all our loyal customers.

09.01.2022 A very professional job! Thanks for all your great work Des and Paul, much appreciated.

07.01.2022 Our much valued employee Carl and his gorgeous bride Inna were married yesterday. Congratulations to you both! It was a beautiful wedding!

06.01.2022 The Towers Jockey Club have been very busy the last few months. Other than the day to day goings on such as track work, maintenance, and the usual stuff. The C...lub has had some major work programs happening. Firstly a big thank you to Pat Fortini from Fortini Earthmoving Pat, not to be confused with postman Pat with his black and white cat!! But Pat in his big impressive green tractor!! IF you are into tractor porn, you know the best colour tractor to pin up is a big John Deer green one!!! Well Pat with his green tractor and his laser level scoop, came in and helped with the levels and the resurfacing of the track. Pat, who was under the pump with work (not delivering the mail with a black and white cat) still made time to fit this job in for us. He is fabulous to deal with!! Not only can he help with race tracks but also dressage and showjumping arenas!!! The most important arena in my opinion!!! Pat's machinery came in and put a professional finish on our arena at home. Then to finish off this fabulous new levels on the track we needed more sand to top dress the surface. Our very good friends and long time sponsors and supporters of the club, Greg and Leanne McCahill from Bulk Sand and Natural Aggs came to the rescue. Greg kindly carted the sand to the club. Not just a little sand but 180 tons of sand and even donated some of it as well!!!! Did you know that Greg and Leanne are both avid poultry fans. Well I am not so sure about that!! However I did see them in the chook shed at the Towers Show!!! So they must be amazing people if you ask me!! Plus they have delivered sand here to our place for our special prancing ponies. I need our arena dressed again soon and I will be ringing BSNA and booking Greg to do the work for us here as well. Thank you BSNA for your continued support The last project was to bring our barriers up to industry standards. This was an epic job and the man for this job was Sam Lococo from Salkon Services. Sam sourced the new back gates and installed them on the barriers. This is no easy feat!! Not only is this hard work at the best of times, however poor Sam had to fit in around highly strung race horses, trainers and track work riders!! That can be a scary combination at the best of times!! However Sam put his head down and got the job done. The barriers look fantastic and we can all have a big sigh of relief knowing that our jockeys, horses and barrier attendants are going to be safe. Our facilities are looking amazing thanks to our lovely caretakers. They have been watering madly and keeping everything green and clean. We are ready to hand over to the Charter Towers Amateur Race club for their big meeting. We would like to wish everyone the best and happy racing!!

02.01.2022 A bit of Stuart Heritage on a Saturday morning! Giving the relics a run.

01.01.2022 Congratulations to Carl and Inna on their first wedding anniversary
