23.01.2022 A couple of rods out the door this week first one i done for a mate built on a awesome blank with enough sensitivity in the tip to be a weapon on whiting and enough power down low to land a Dhui no worries i have a couple of these blanks and love them. Matched with a Alps reel seat, triangular fighting butt and Fuji K guides.I finished it off in a NZ theame with black and white bindings, a kiwi and silver fern

I would love a dollar for every fish he's caught on it over the years I kept everything as close to original as I could so it was just like the day we brought it, it's going to Gav so he can slay a few thousand more Taylor off the beach. Built on a 8-12 kg blank it is light enough and still has a sensitive tip to feel the smallest bite but has plenty of power in the butt to stop a big dhui. Matched with Alps HXN guides, trilex reel seat and gimbal finished off in 2 shades of green and black thread work, cheers Dwane

08.01.2022 Finally got around to building the wife a rod, built on a CTS 6-10kg ruby blank I done a paua shell G Ushuri into the rear grip and finished it off with black sliver and ruby thread work it came out sweet and a lot better than the rod I built for her all them years ago

07.01.2022 Second one done today built for trawling for mackerel i used a 15-20kg blank Alps HXN guides and Alps roller tip. I used what i think is the best looking reel seat out there and finished it off in a Fremantle Dockers theame. One thing I can guarantee is it will catch more fish than the Dockers have flags

04.01.2022 Well i finally finished this light jigging rod, its only taken 6 months but its for myself so all good i built it on a T Russell slow jerk blank PE 1.5-2.5, i built it to fit me so i extended the rear grip to 400mm to make it more comfortable jigging, i used a Alps reel seat and fighting butt and Fuji K guides i kept it plane with the guide wraps black saffire and silver but thats what i like
