22.01.2022 BT Energy were once again proud to host clients and partners over the weekend at the 2019 Lexus Ball for Telethon. Held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre’s BelleVue Ballroom, BT Energy and guests were amongst the 850-strong crowd on one of the biggest nights of the Perth social calendar. Whilst attendee’s enjoyed fantastic food and beverages, reveled in the entertainment and rubbed shoulders with celebrities; it was the very essence of Telethon which struck a chor...d with all attendees...the children of Western Australia. The proceeds of the Lexus Ball contribute to the Telethon and its 51 beneficiaries, which amongst them provide a variety of equipment for children in hospital, critical services for children with disabilities and life-changing opportunities for disadvantaged children.

19.01.2022 BT Energy were proud to be a major sponsor of @darwin_airport Charity Golf Day 2019 held at Darwin Golf Club in August of this year. It was Darwin International Airport's 13th Annual Charity Golf Day with the fundraising recipient being @savechildrenaus. A total of $60,000 was raised and will help the Northern Territory arm of Save The Children to fit out two Sprinter Vans with storage, vocational technology, education supplies, water supplies and purchase a support vehicle to bring families to their two flagship programs Out Teach Mobile Education and Play 2 Learn. 15.01.2022 A special close-up inside the East Village at Knutsford Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The BESS features 117 Alpha-ESS batteries amongst a host of other critical infrastructure to deliver the 670kWh of power. The BT Energy team worked closely with the Alpha-ESS team to deliver this integrated outcome.

07.01.2022 Did you know. . .technology exists to offer customers of medium and high density apartment developments a green energy solution with the potential of being cheaper than existing tariff structures? By utilising strata common area to install Solar PV modules, a community scale battery, smart metering and associated system infrastructure, a residential development could in effect have its own embedded energy network managed by the strata company. The strata company maintains ...the renewable assets and individually metres each resident. This is achieved via a Power Purchasing Agreement (PPA) which may be up 15% under standard utility energy network tariffs. 04.01.2022 BT Energy are proud to announce a Joint Venture with @nicheliving to form Connected Communities Energy (CCE), delivering unique energy micro-grid solutions to built-form developments (https://bit.ly/2LsUULi). CCE micro-grid solutions are anticipated to derive at least 80% of energy from Solar PV, reducing the reliance on utility grid energy consumption. With the inclusion of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), micro-grid solutions are able to store excess Solar System gen...eration not utilised during sunlight hours, provide back-up power (capacity to replace traditional back methods), the ability to arbitrage on lower power tariffs (i.e. charging the BESS at a lower night time tariff) and the future potential to export power back to the grid.
