24.01.2022 Watch this week's short video with the latest update from Boys Town Jerusalem. We have some exciting news to share!

24.01.2022 Over the past few years we have been lucky to be one of the many organisations to benefit from an amazing group of Australian Fund managers who have come together under The ORAH Fund to build an asset and ongoing stream of support for our community. These exceptional and generous fund managers will be presenting in a professional investor panel series which we believe will be extremely insightful for anyone who invests in the market (both locally, and globally). This is a tru...ly unique opportunity to hear from so many different professional fund managers in one place. Register at http://webinar.orahfund.com.au The ORAH Fund is an innovative charitable venture that does NOT require donations from the community. Members of the community simply invest in a highly compelling fund-of-funds where the fund managers donate 100% of their fees to Jewish Charities. Their donation does not affect investment returns in any way. To date, The ORAH Fund has donated over $840,000 to Jewish organisations around the world thanks to the support of their generous and exceptional underlying fund managers. @orahfund

We also take you to Rachel's office. Ima (mother) Rachel, as she is known to the boys, has been dealing with families who cannot pay for their tuition.

19.01.2022 We were thrilled to welcome our College of Applied Engineering (CAE) boys back to campus last week. Hear all the exciting updates this week in this short video report by our Australian Development Coordinator, Ilana Kaplan

16.01.2022 Meet Eli. He went to BTJ from 1964-1967. He worked in the air force, and this is his success story: Eli was born in 1950 to immigrants and grew up in Haifa. His father escaped Germany in 1936 traveling by bus and ships for more than a month. His mother escaped Germany when she was 18. Her father had donated money to Shaare Zedek Medical Center Jerusalem / , so she got special permission to come to Israel to study to be a nurse. Eli‘s father owned a radi...o store in Haifa called Radio Lion. It was from there that Eli became interested in electronics and ended up at Boys Town Jerusalem. He was the second class at BTJ to study electronics. After learning at BTJ, he switched to a specialized Air Force school. There, he became an instructor for his army service. After three and a half years in the air force, he met his wife. After he got married, he worked as the manager of his father’s store in Haifa. Later on, he also worked at an insurance company. Today, Eli and his wife have four children, 16 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Even though he didn’t specifically make a career in electronics, Eli is grateful for the values he learned at BTJ. He tries to pass on these values, especially when he volunteers as a teacher. I learnt that it is so important to look at everything in a positive and good way. Your life changes when you focus on the positive. #BTJalumni
