17.01.2022 My dad wears swag Converse sandals when he goes for a walk. He wears a stylish silver Calvin Klein watch when he greets friends. He also has a slick af BOSS briefcase he brings to work. Yet when I think of the word simplicity, I can only think of my dad. Why?... Because I’ve seen him with those exact same items since I was in prep school (that’s like 20 years???). Also...I’m pretty sure the watch and the briefcase are fake.. And to think that I *had* to upgrade from iPad Nano 3rd gen to 4th gen back in the days, I feel my dad should’ve been harsher on me lmao. These days when I exercise I still wear the same pair of Nike’s my friends gifted me over 8 years ago. Dad doesn’t know this, but if he did, he would probably be proud that I took a page from his book. Yet I’m *only* 12 years short of his 20-year run with the (fake) goods. Getting there I guess. #bubblethoughts
