24.01.2022 We have been contacted by a chap in Albury . A couple of years ago he had 3 desexed cats and was a responsible cat Dad. Over the last 2 years he started to f...eed stray cats as he felt sorry for them and wammo he is now feeding 24 cats lots are pregnant and the males need desexing as well. I have approached the Albury Rescue and they are full so at this point the only option is the pound where many wont leave as there are simply so many in need. For this chap the pound is not an option and I understand this so we have provided food flea and worm treatment the next step is desexing as many of these cats as we can . We have desexed 156 cats in Albury Wodonga but this one situation can undo all our good work. Over time we will assist in finding these cats a new home but at the minute desexing is a must. To make this happen we need financial assistance as the cost will be huge but we cant ignore this situation. PLEASE DONATE IF YOU CAN AS WITHOUT YOUR HELP WE SIMPLY CANT DO THIS.
