20.01.2022 No gym? No worries! How are you and your bubs staying fit right now?

15.01.2022 This is the face of a mother looking at her child thinking I’ll protect you. You are my everything and I will do everything in my power to keep you safe. This is not the face of a mother who within 12 months would be looking at her child thinking I don’t know if I can protect you or even myself or those around us. At midday today we shut the doors to @bubfitbondi @speedofitness.club and @speedoswimcentre We know it’s only a temporary closure and we know it’s the best decision... for the world we’re living in today but the ripple effect is already devastating. All of our wonderful staff that have suddenly lost their jobs, our instructors who all work for themselves have watched in shock as their entire industry shut down overnight, our members that have lost us, the thing that helps keep them motivated, healthy and strong. To our #bondibeach community of Mums and Bubs who we’ve brought together, given you a reason to get out of the house, an opportunity to do something #positive for yourselves physically and mentally, to make new mummy friends going through the same challenges at the same time, we’re so sorry. Sorry we can’t see your smiling faces at each class or hold your babies so you can get one more workout in. We’re sorry we can’t get you and your babies out of the house and still protect you both right now but we are still here. We’re all working extremely hard in the background to get to a place where we can still be a part of your day or your week, even if it has to be from afar. So please watch this space and please give us and our dedicated instructors the opportunity to show you that we can still be here for you at a time when we all need to stay strong and healthy so that we can still protect our babies.
