22.01.2022 BUBZPLAY END / START DATES Hi everyone! I’ve got the official end and start dates for 2019/2020. Last bubzplay of 2019 will be Tuesday 17 December.... First bubzplay of 2020 will be Tuesday 11 February. Only a few Playgroups / Bubzplays left for the year, so we hope to see you all before Christmas holidays! Love, C3 Playgroup Team xx

18.01.2022 BUBZPLAY & CORONAVIRUS Hi Bubzplay Family, as you’re all most likely aware of, precautions around COVID-19 are being introduced and many are practicing social distancing. As of this afternoon, I can announce that tomorrow’s Bubzplay (10:30am) WILL be in session. If you choose to attend, there is plenty of hand and surfaces sanitisers.... At the moment, I can’t predict whether or not future Bubzplay sessions will be running. With that in mind, please keep an eye out for our posts as I will be fed information about Bubzplay sessions on a day to day basis. While we’d love to see you there, please do NOT come and seek medical attention if you or your child is showing symptoms such as a runny nose, sore throat, dry cough, fever or difficulty breathing. 15.01.2022 BUBZPLAY CLOSURE UPDATE Hi all, as expected, the situation around Coronavirus and Bubzplay has changed. It has been decided that Bubzplay will CLOSE until further notice. This means there will be NO Bubzplay next week onwards until further notice.... At the moment, actively participating in self isolation or social distancing is being recommended as the most effective method to slow the spread of the virus and reduce the already heavy burden on our health system. The gathering of Bubzplay brings the risk that people who are asymptomatic attend, passing the virus on to others there. It then spreads further into the wider community as each of those exposed to the virus carry out their day-to-day activities around other healthy and vulnerable people. This decision has been made with the safety of the whole community, the more vulnerable (elderly , disabled , lowered immunity ), and our Playgroup Team in mind. We can make a big impact on the spread of the virus through working together to adhere to current safety measures. Keep an eye out for our posts to see when we will be able to start running again. We still want to support Bubzplay families in this time, and through C3 Care, we’re here to help you regardless of church member status. If you’re stuck alone in isolation, reach out to us and we can help with food shopping, delivery, and other services you might need. Let’s all do our part in managing the spread of COVID-19 to ensure that we stay safe and those suffering from the virus can access the care and equipment they need in hospital isolation. Again, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns, and keep in touch with us and one another to help fight feelings of loneliness. We’d love to see some posts and photos of our Bubz playing at home! We love you and will miss you! 11.01.2022 Hi lovely Bubzplay families! Please be aware that the Rivulet Cafe will be closed from 10am for the rest of the day due to a large private event. The carpark will probably be busy with attendees arriving at the same time as Bubzplay, so keep in mind that you might have to park further from the playground than usual.... 08.01.2022 FUTURE BUBZPLAYS & COVID-19 Hi again Bubzplay Family, It’s been officially decided that Playgroup and Bubzplay WILL keep running.... We will continue to run alongside the public school terms, breaking over the Easter holiday (last Playgroup on April 8th). HOWEVER, if / when the government decides to shut down schools, Playgroup and Bubzplay will ALSO close. While we still continue to run, please be mindful when deciding whether or not to attend. If you or your child are experiencing symptoms such as a runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever or difficulty breathing, seek medical attention immediately and do NOT come to Bubzplay. We may request that anyone attending who has the above symptoms to leave and seek medical attention. Please consider your situation carefully. In addition to this, DO NOT COME if you are in contact with vulnerable people throughout your daily life, such as elderly parents / grandparents, or people with reduced immune capacity. **Asymptomatic people can pass the virus to the vulnerable without realising.** Again, we would still love to see you at Bubzplay and don’t want to cause panic with this post. We can all enjoy Bubzplay more knowing everyone is making the best choices according to the latest health advice around Coronavirus and self isolating / social distancing. We understand that many of us will feel truly isolated and disconnected to others during this unknown time. We encourage you to link up, digitally check in with each other often, and stay in touch with the Playgroup team for connection.
