03.01.2022 Last week the Qld Maritime Safety announced they would not allow shipping Vessels into Brisbane. This would have been even more devastating for our business then currently already suffering. Struggling through the prospect of finding work to keep all our staff employed. We knuckled down to find a solution and Thanks to our GM Shaun Johnson for composing a letter to the GM of Qld Maritime Safety and then spending some time on the phone pleading our case in Brisbane, has assis...ted in a rethink of the ban. Shaun has not only assisted to save our business but all other Brisbane carriers facing no work if the Ban was to take place. We are not out of the woods yet with massive drops in business, but we hope to see this through. We have put in new CV measures in place today to protect as many staff as possible. Buccini have also put in a strategy to get through this the best way possible and our clients and staff have been amazing and their support is outstanding.
