22.01.2022 Today I'm trying something new for Buckaroo Braiding! I am going to raffle off this striking 22 ft long 12 strand ombre mecate valued at $200. There will be 20 'tickets' and each ticket is priced at $25. Please comment or PM me what number you would like to reserve!!... When all 20 numbers are taken I will use a random number generator to pick a winner!! Postage is included unless it is international. This mecate is the first to have my initials stitched into the popper for my makers identification. I will be using this until I buy a makers stamp. I have also stamped the word 'Patience' on the other side of the popper, a quality I believe is always handy to be reminded of when working with your horse! Good luck!
20.01.2022 Here's something a little different! This is a decorative rope I made for a good friend of mine to commemorate her wonderful gelding 'Winter' who passed away only a few months ago as well as her extremely talented endurance horse 'Alice' who has completed 7 successful Shahzada tracks. Thats 2800km Alice's mane hair is in the pink tassel and Winter's tail hair is in the blue. Cherry wanted the "mane and tail effect" and a custom made piece to keep the two horses together forever. It will be mounted in a picture frame - I can't wait to see the end product!!

15.01.2022 An order of split reins heading out! This order features two of the many styles of split reins I offer. The first pair is made with a 'box braid' with 12 strands. This braid can also be done with only 8 strands, which suits kids or people with smaller hands! The second is the 'Trenza Patria', the national braid of Argentina. This braid is more rectangular and uses rein connectors instead of slobber straps. Both styles have a great weight and feel to them, resulting in clear c...ommunication between you and your equine friend! PM me for any enquiries about my custom reins :)

11.01.2022 Ive been feeling this a lot recently! Some new reading material and different experiences have given me lots of new angles by which I can approach my braiding, horsemanship and 'lifemanship'. All of these thought processes contribute to artist's work and it's determined value. The mecate I have in the works is a product of this! It will be finished soon, its a cracker
