25.01.2022 We are renovating the gardens around the homestead on the weekends...step 1 has been renovating the stone walls, extending the garden fence for a new rose garden and added a pond before we re pave the courtyard. Soon a big planting program will commence. A few before and after pics...

16.01.2022 A major rain event last Friday 51mm has turned a good spring into drought breaking rain. Water everywhere...nearly all the dams are now full. Bush country and grassland areas bouncing away with fresh growth! After carting water to the homestead since July 2018...this is a great relief to have all three house dams now full!

14.01.2022 Just completed 3 days of consultation with Richard Marver, Contour Consulting WA. Richard, a Rangelands ecologist, a walking encyclopedia of knowledge with plant species has been helping us fine tune our long term sustainability plan for Buckleboo Station. Very interesting couple of days!

13.01.2022 Winter is a busy time for yard building and fencing...most of the waters have trap yards around them...only 8 more to do!

01.01.2022 Bush country near Dead Dam is re-generating well after the spring rain. These plants were dry sticks until recently...rain and complete spell from sheep.
