25.01.2022 The Britax B-First is such a futuristic looking and functional seat. Its extended rear facing, has side impact protection, easily identifiable belt paths and a handy dandy instruction book holder in the base. 10.01.2022 Hello everyone! Im still here I hope you have all made it through these last few months relatively unscathed. It sure has been a bumpy ride!... I just wanted to drop in to let you all know I will still be installing car seats, however appointments may be limited to my availability. Ideally i would love to help people while my husband is home every 3rd week. This is not ideal in all instances, but i may be able to schedule around my day job occasionally. 06.01.2022 SOMETIMES ITS HARD TO ADMIT WHEN WE MESS UP. But here is my confession... even though embarrassing it may serve as a reminder to others to be diligent! Double check! Triple check! I want to start by saying, thankfully my serious error would not have caused any injury to a child however I still get hot flushes and my heart races when I think about it... because I should have know better!... At this fitting I noticed that there was one seat in date, one seat with 1 year left and one seat 2 years out of date. This means the parents had to source a replacement seat before I could go ahead with the installation. We installed the newest seat and the mother asked me to destroy the expired seat... well... stupid me destroyed the wrong... blinking... seat!! nooooooooo! This totally messed up all our plans of allowing them an extra year to save for another seat and I felt AWFUL!! I should have checked and checked again before doing anything, I honestly dont know how I got it so wrong. Thankfully the parents were very understanding and I obviously rectified the issue by replacing the seat with one we had spare. This gave them an extra 5 years thank goodness! But its just that easy to make a mistake and I admit Im human Please double and triple check everything!! Before doing anything and after doing it also!

01.01.2022 Look how little Zander was! These photos were taken on the same day. On the left: an A2 seat that rear faces until an average 12 month old. ... On the right: an A4 seat that rear faces until an average 30 month old. The arrows are pointing to the height marker which states they must turn forward facing. Look how much more room he had! This is why I highly encourage people to shop in the A4 range the blue seat shown is as little as $159 at Kmart
