23.01.2022 Welcome to Buckleysbees new Facebook page. Please patient whilst we upload photos and prices etc to this page. We will endeavour to keep you informed on the progress of the hives, the honey flow, the new creations and anything else bee related.

21.01.2022 Here at Buckley’s Bees we like to try and recycle as much as possible. This week our Queen Bee has made feed sacks into totes for shopping/storage/carrying to the beach. Each bag will be unique as they are handmade and use the best part of the sack. Here are two examples, one is lined with cotton and the other left plain. The larger will carry a whole watermelon easily.

19.01.2022 New fabrics added (not always bee related) and some already sold out! The cutlery wraps are pricing very popular with people sharing tea rooms, kitchens or canteen spaces at work. Message to purchase your chosen fabric.

18.01.2022 Honeycomb all boxed up!

17.01.2022 New fabrics added this weekend, some bee related and some not. Fabric Cutlery wraps available to be posted complete with cutlery, straw and cleaning brush, just send a message stating your fabric choice and leave the rest to us.

16.01.2022 Inspection yesterday revealed the bees are bringing in the pollen and we will have honey available in the near future.

15.01.2022 Wine glass coasters - don’t lose your glass at the party. Slip this coaster over the base of your glass and claim it as your own.

14.01.2022 Today’s activities will include cutting more fabric and grating beeswax to make more beeswax wraps for orders... these make great Christmas gifts and are environmentally friendly.

13.01.2022 Various fabrics available, some seasonal.

09.01.2022 The bees have been busy! We extracted frames full of honey yesterday and used the newly acquired frame spinner to collect the honey. The smell is just wonderful. We will be able to collect plenty of wax for other projects too. This week will see us making Candles in various shapes and sizes, more beeswax wraps and maybe some other items. Watch this space.

08.01.2022 Lovely to see the blossoms and bees busy this morning after the storms.

07.01.2022 A pair of gold coloured bee earrings.

06.01.2022 The bees are safe in their hives, strapped down against the stormy weather. Hopefully with all this rain the blossoms will flourish and the bees produce even more honey.

05.01.2022 Do you have to search at work for cutlery? Use plastic cutlery for your lunch? I found a solution! These cutlery wraps have knife, fork, spoon and stainless steel straw (with cleaning brush). All packaged into a roll up wrap and tied with ribbon. Available to order at only $12 per set. Various bee/honey themed fabrics available. Please message me for more details.

05.01.2022 Time management at this time of year is absolutely important. So many orders to fulfil this weekend. Therefore this mornings work included cutting and measuring beeswax wrap fabric whilst driving to Sunshine Coast to collect Christmas presents (I was the passenger not the driver)

04.01.2022 Have you been asked to BYO Cutlery to work? I have been making cutlery wraps. Each wrap has a stainless steel knife, fork, dessert spoon, teaspoon, along with a straw and cleaning brush all wrapped in a fabric wrap and tied with a ribbon. Available in many colours and patterns. $15 per wrap. I’ll add a selection of photos and if you want a particular colour or print please just ask. Feel free to share with family (the post not your cutlery! )

03.01.2022 Record sales of our Beeswax wraps this year - hopefully the reason they are popular is because people are caring more about the environment (and we have some awesome fabric choices!) The cutlery wraps have been flying out too! Closing over the Christmas period, please message/email [email protected] to place orders for New Year.

01.01.2022 The bees are working hard at the moment and creating lots and lots of yummy honey. In turn we also have plenty of beeswax and honeycomb. We are about to start making Beeswax wraps in new fabrics. Also plan for beeswax tealight and hive style candles. Watch this space for further details.
