25.01.2022 Vanessa from Kalbar got a nice suprise this morning when she seen this python with a full belly(most likely a possum) digesting its meal in the front of their c...amper How good is snake season hey lol credit Vanessa Garrard. 0411 399 272 have a good weekend.

24.01.2022 Not what most people are expecting when going to get a tool out of the draw. This carpet python had itself a meal and curled up for a nice sleep, much to the shock of the people trying work on their cars.

21.01.2022 An elderly couple saw a snake enter their home and disappear under a couch, after looking under both couches with no luck, I had a weird feeling, so I looked under the corner stand and look who was watching me the whole time. A decent size common tree snake.

21.01.2022 Kookaburra vs tigersnake Photographer Dave Black. Yanchep national park, Perth WA. EDIT: the story is Kookaburras were released into Perth and surrounds to eat... tigersnakes and quickly became a problem for the local environment Birds are the number one predators of snakes in Australia. Not just kookaburras but ravens, magpie, waterbirds like ibis, heron etc, birds of prey, frogmouths and I've seen seagulls fighting over a baby snakes. Encourage meat eating birds to your property for a front line deterrents as they all slurp up snakes like spaghetti. Don't feed them to much or you'll defeat the purpose. Keep them lean and keen See more

19.01.2022 Release vid of the nice big Eastern brown a couple days ago from pine mountain. You'll see him come out of the bag very defensive and thats because i was the on...ly thing in his way, soon as i stayed completely still he calmed right down & would have went straight underneath me(but i stood back up) Snakes are movement orientated, the minute i moved he become defensive again straight away, you'll see at the end he was advancing towards me in defensive stance but then calmed back down as i was very still and went straight past my shoe with no dramas. Hopefully this example helps with what to do if you are ever this close to a snake, easier said then done i no lol but this is a good example.

17.01.2022 Well not something I thought I would ever see.

17.01.2022 Two Of Humans Biggest Phobia's On One BBQ! How would you react if you lifted the BBQ cover and found these two hanging out?! A big Carpet Python and a big spider! Stu

15.01.2022 So much activity in our yard tonight.

14.01.2022 Things us catchers have to deal with. A person called just now as they have a tree snake behind there fridge, I explained I was an hour away and even before they heard the callout fee, they said "oh well I'll just kill it with a shovel" I quickly explained that was illegal and just inhumane but they hang up promptly.

13.01.2022 Peek a boo. This decent size python was having an afternoon bath in an overflow tank, it wasn't too impressed when I removed it but I did relocate it to a nice quiet river.

13.01.2022 With cars staying put more these days, be mindful that frogs love hiding around the door seals, the tree frogs are pretty obvious but the persons frogs blend in very well and can be found in large groups, we have probably removed well over 50 from three vehicles.

12.01.2022 Good evening guys. Here's a good example of why you should pick your shit up and bin it... It ain't hard people.! Night

09.01.2022 A Queensland family of five has had the fright of their lives after a huge python emerged from the front of their car. The reptile slithered onto the windscreen... and didn't seem too fussed by the squeals of surprise. Report on 7NEWS at 6pm. www.7NEWS.com.au #7NEWS

08.01.2022 I have had a couple of calls from around Bundy with people thinking they have seen a tiger snake, while there have been reported cases of tiger snakes this far north, I myself and other catchers have not seen one. So did you see a tiger snake? Or did you see an eastern brown snake who just happened to look like one? Eastern browns are very good at having a large range of patterns and colours, often looking like other snakes. Either way, brown or tiger, both should be left be, if you can safely grab a photo, do so and send to a catcher for ID, don't ask the local community or buy, swap page, your just asking for stupid answers.

08.01.2022 Going going gone. This could be tricky. I'd love to make a withdrawal today. Snake Catcher Victoria Australia says be nice to snakes. www.snakecatchervictoria....com.au #snakecatchervictoria See more

07.01.2022 Just some of the beautiful creatures that call our place home.

06.01.2022 A client had bought an old rusted out car and soon discovered the car was inhabited, this one was sleeping under the back seat,it was in the process of shedding and dehydrated with some rather large ticks, so I removed them and relocated him to some water where he could soak.

06.01.2022 Looks like we are finally getting our much deserved rain, remember that other creatures may be seeking shelter from the rain, so keep doors and windows shut, it isn't uncommon for snakes to seek the warmth of a house in storms.

04.01.2022 When Your Food Doesnt Quite Go Down Right! This gorgeous little Keelback was in a world of hurt when we found him caught up in a mesh bag at a home in Maroochyd...ore. As soon as I got him out from being stuck in the bag he still didnt seem well at all and I noticed something in his stomach that wasnt sittng right either. I took the snake to the Animal Emergency Service and the awesome vets were able to carefully help the Keelback regurg its meal. As soon as the cane toad got regurgitated the Keelback seemed to feel a whole lot better. Keelbacks are capable of eating cane toads however this one wasnt sitting too well in the snakes stomach. We are monitoring the snake overnight to make sure its ok. Video to come! Stu.

01.01.2022 HAVE A GO AT THIS! Stu out on holidays, went for his morning walk in 1770 and came across this awesome and gorgeous Yellow Spotted Monitor. He put on a show ...for them that’s for sure, with this classic meerkat impersonation Usually for this species this is a defensive posture How cool! ~ Richie & Westy #Wildlife #photography #animal #monitorlizard #lizard #nature #reptiles #outdoors #animals #wildlifephotography #agneswater #qld #australia #queensland #defensive #reptile #awesome #holidays #holiday #beach #sand #snakecatcher
