15.01.2022 3x Easter Hampers Give Away So this Pandemic business has really been tough on our communities. People have been unsure, stressed and worried. We are confronting the unknown and in doing so, we want to look for the little rays of light in humanity. Because its Easter and most of us love a bit of chocolate indulgence, we are wanting to share some good will in West Gippsland. This is not a give-away that is looking for promotion as the payoff. We dont want more likes on o...ur page or a certain number of shares. We just want to spread some kindness to someone who doesnt expect it. We would like people to nominate either themselves or someone they know that needs some kindness. Maybe its a family that will struggle to buy their kids some eggs, maybe they have lost their job or had their hours slashed. Maybe they are struggling with their mental health and the extra load of stress that we all have at the moment. Maybe they are just doing an ace job at self-isolating (#legends) to help everyone in the community. We organised these hampers through The Chocolate Shop in Warragul. We ordered and payed over the phone and it was super easy- we hope that by getting these chocolates from a small local business we can help them out too. 07.01.2022 Team Training Today we had Leah from Methmac Communications come and spend the afternoon delivering a session on Effective Communication. Such a great way to finish the week with a training session that gives you the chance to evaluate our own behaviours and interpersonal relationships. One of the best take-outs was that we can all work on out communication skills, that we all have room for improvement and that it can start today! Leahs positive energy and can-do attitude was fantastic.
