25.01.2022 Looking forward to it.

24.01.2022 Good weekend doing some PB times. Started the final in 6th. A good start getting me to 4th but more experienced drivers getting past me and ended up 6th. Relatively happy knowing I’ve got some improvements to do to crack a podium. The kart is great and always good to finish without any damage. Once again thanks to Sam Dicker and Greg Dicker for the help over the weekend.

24.01.2022 Bunbury Goldstar round done. Great to have a relatively trouble free event. Pace was good after an erratic qualifying put me in 10th. Would have gone 5th if I d...id my theoretical. Some great tips from Greg Dicker and Samuel G Dicker from Flatout Karts. Had good pace in the final. Went for a send for 5th that didn’t quite go my way and ended up in 8th. Ooh well. 5th fastest in the final. See more

20.01.2022 Finals day ending in despair. Pace was good and hoping to finish nicely inside top 10. Unfortunately in Pre-final we were innocent losers from a bingle right in front of us. Major damage to front wheel and steering. Started final in P14 and no luck with another crash in front of us.

15.01.2022 Good pace before the rains came.

14.01.2022 Ready for round 3 of the South East Zone. Got a great spot trackside. Beautiful sunrise over probably the most picturesque track in WA. It overlooks the Bay of Isles. Hopefully we can go better than last year when we finished 3rd overall but a lot bigger field this year so we’ll see.

13.01.2022 The pre final crash

11.01.2022 Our home track hosted this round so we were hoping for a good result and Lucas came away with his best ever Western Cup result. 6th overall. Fantastic effort. Some great racing moves and a maturing race mind. The improvements are great to see. Well deserved. The track looked absolutely fantastic, the weather was perfect. A big well done to the club for making it look great and the tireless volunteers that officiate, administer, run the canteen and do all those behind the scenes duties that sometimes get taken for granted. Well done to all involved.

10.01.2022 Albany for the first round of South East Zone. The weather was Melbourne like. All the seasons over the weekend. Lucas’ first open as a senior went great. 2nd place in the final and overall!! Great driving and smart decisions regarding tyres and setup in tricky conditions. Well done Lucas. Thanks to Flatout Karts for the engine. ... Kalgoorlie is next round of SEZ.

08.01.2022 And the 1st pic about sums it up! Got binned on lap 1 of practice and race day just stayed there as well. Did have some fun though and walked off smiling after finishing the final in 11th. ... And the new suit looks flash. Great event by Hurricane. Best King of the Hill yet. Well done to all volunteers and anyone that helped make it happen.

08.01.2022 A while since the last post. A quick trip to Geraldton for the club run and some practice on the new asphalt. Improved well over a second a lap thanks to Sam Dicker, and Greg Dicker.

07.01.2022 We finally made it home from the State Titles in Esperance. An event we are glad to say is behind us. Trailer trouble made us take over 28hrs to get there, missing all Friday practice. Never found any pace but enjoyed running in KA3 as well. Learned heaps and will take it forward. A big thanks to Paul & Renee Lapham for helping us over the weekend.

03.01.2022 First race meeting as a senior went pretty well. Heat 1 DNF whilst in 2nd. Heats 2&3 finished a solid 3rd only a few secs behind. Another 3rd in the final and was even quickest on track for a few laps mid race. Encouraging for the next one.

03.01.2022 Great extended weekend away in Esperance. Good overall result finishing 7th on points. Could have been a bit better as we were coming 5th after two heats but a bad setup decision in heat 3 and a first corner racing incident spin in heat 4 damaged the kart and meant we started the final in 8th. Good pace and some good racing saw Lucas finish 6th in the final. Thanks to Graham Reid and Milan Stefanovic for helping out.

01.01.2022 Ready to go at Midwest Kart Club. First time out in the new colours. Looks great. Thanks Sam Dicker and Greg Dicker from Flatout Karts. Good luck to all competing.

01.01.2022 Having fun at the State Champs. Qualified 10th only a few tenths from pole. Heat 1 got caught up in some carnage and fought back from rear of field back to 10th. Heat 2 much the same. Looking forward to finals.
