24.01.2022 Having some water play to keep cool today! Sorry to anyone who may have tried to contact me or if I didnt get back to you in the last few days, I was away and out of service, but Im back feeling refreshed and keen to find these guys new homes!

23.01.2022 Just did a whirl wind trip up to Sydney and back and it was so awesome to see these two in the flesh! Buckshot Kingston and Nala, brother and sister @11 months. These are the first of our pups that Ive seen in the flesh again since they left us (and first time them seeing each other) so it was too good a chance to turn down! Thanks again so much Amy and Josh and Sharon and Pete, keep up the great work!

21.01.2022 While we celebrate the first year of our ANZAC litter, today is also a day of remembrance so we cant forget our beautiful boy Bomber. He was only with us for a few days but he will always be remembered, especially as I named him in honour of my Grandad Woodie.

20.01.2022 Finally got some nice sunshine today after a week of rain so took the remaining pups down to the park. These 3 are all still needing homes if anyone is interested.

18.01.2022 Just a quick update as Ive been a bit quiet lately. All the dogs and pups are doing really well and have managed through the extreme heat and smoke like champs. The pups keep growing and developing and are looking really good and while its not a priority right now, we really need to find new homes for them once this fire threat dies down. We recieved an evacuation alert yesterday afternoon but we are still relatively safe where we are in our little town so we will be staying ...put for now. Ive spent all day clearing the paddock behind our back fence and trying to create a small fire break in case it flares up tomorrow. As I said even if things do get bad tomorrow we will still be ok and we do have a plan to get out if things really take a mega turn for the worse. 16.01.2022 Cant say Ive ever experienced this before! 47 in the shade, 50 IN THE SUN!!!! Very gusty winds too but its at least blowing a lot of the smoke away. We are still fine with the fires but a southerly change later tonight is expected to stir it all up again. El is absolutely loving the fact we are blessed with our own coolroom here so all the dogs are doing fine (Kenya and Koko are in the bakery with the pups) but Im pretty close to turning the compressor on and joining her in there!

16.01.2022 We had our first pup to be picked up go out from this litter today as all the others have been delivered, so it was nice to finally get the chance to take our traditional Hello/Goodbye family photos again! The beautiful Blitzen, now Macy, has found herself an awesome home and we couldnt be happier for her and her new family!

13.01.2022 Sorry its been so quiet here lately, Ive been away working at our property on and off for the last 6 weeks and finally got home for good on Monday. Took El down to the park yesterday and safe to say she was excited to see me and get out and stretch her legs! 10 months old, 30kg and not an ounce of excess. Very happy with her development so far.

13.01.2022 Its been a big day for everyone here at Buckshot's as the pups had a well needed bath this morning before a trip to the Vet for their 10 week needles and then an extended play outside while I gave the entire bakery a huge clean. The pups are all doing great and are now having a well needed cool down and rest. While we were at the Vets I also dropped off a big donation bundle of everything spare we had and what Ive been able to scrape together in the last few days and it will ...be taken up to their clinic in the burnt zone to hopefully help out. A number of farmers also stopped in to pick up medicines and supplies while we were there and seeing that first hand made my offering seem grossly inadequate so I have decided we will also be donating the full price of one of our remaining puppies to the local recovery relief. These fires have had a huge impact on our local communities (We live on the purple dot, wedged right between the Corryong/Snowy fires and the Alpine Ridge fires) so I would also like to say a huge Thankyou to any of our followers who have also given towards the bushfire relief funds. And please, if you are interested in one of our pups, dont hesitate to get in contact as we are all well and truly ready for them to start their new lives with You! See more

10.01.2022 Hi everyone! Im very sorry the page has been so quiet recently but between being really sick for most of the year and with all the Covid restrictrictions living under Chairman Dan's Socialist Dictatorship, unfortunately I needed to take a big step back from Buckshot and BAI to focus on my own wellbeing. Im now happy to say after an incredibly hard 9 months that Im on the improve and things are much better here all around. Sorry again for my absence and a massive thankyou to all for being so patient and understanding in whats been a really awful year for everyone. On a practical note, all the dogs are doing great! Koko just finished her heat and Kenya has just come in so if all goes to plan we will have some big announcements to make for their next cycles in around 5 months! Cheers, Cory.

03.01.2022 We've had a fun lunch watching the Camel man come past then took the pups over to the pub to mingle and socialise. The pups were extremely well behaved and threatened to steal the spotlight from the camels so we left early!

02.01.2022 This was not as difficult as it looks! Gotta keep their little brains active while we look for new homes but having such smart pups can make that both easier and harder at times, lucky they are so cute!
